Bruce Campbell Filmography

There's a strong chance I could soon score a Paramount Pictures promotional crew member baseball cap for the film CONGO for free. Personally, I didn't care much for the film but Bruce was in it, I'm the middle man at the moment in helping a friend sell some Paramount promotional stuff , I'm not going to ask for money for doing it, just the baseball cap. Because it's Bruce.

Tornado! is a made for TV Twister rip-off that actually aired on Fox like four days before Twister hit theatres. It's not very interesting, most of the "spectacle" is archive footage of actual tornados. But Bruce is good in it and shares a lot of screentime with Ernie Hudson which, at least to me, serves as a nice patch on Congo, where they both appear but never meet on screen.

Assault on Dome 4 is basically a low-budget Die Hard rip-off, only instead of a skyscraper it takes place on an space outpost. According to If Chins could Kill, Bruce was originally offered the "Bruce Willis" role but found it dull and uninspired, so instead he took the role of the "Alan Rickman" character that had much more personality and some fun quotes and speeches. The movie itself is extremely dumb and boring (and the "protagonist" really is atrocious), but at least when Bruce is on screen, he seems to be having some fun with it.

Also in lots of these low-budget stuff, Bruce's voice sounds very high-pitched. I first thought that it's just a young Bruce thing, but Assault on Dome 4 is now almost a decade after Evil Dead II and he really didn't sound like that there (nor in Army of Darkness). Maybe his voice is just distorted through the cheap audio of these TV movies?

I actually really enjoyed that as cheesy as it was, thanks Hurley!. (I hadn't seen it before)

Bruce guest-starred in an episode of Weird Science in 1997 as Gene, the magical genie.
