I found this episode very "Harry Potteresque".  The Mortal Kombat CGI was a little too much but overall it was good.  Not the best but good.  I stopped screaming at the CGI.  I don't think they will be better this season.  Just hope they will work on it on the second season.

I just saw the episode  It didn't feel like the first one but it was very good. We can feel Sam Raimi is not in command but I think the director did well.  The camera fixed on the shot gun was cool.  There was a very few CGI scenes. I that point, I don't expect to get better CGI for the series...

RE: Evil Dead Television Series They did a great job to reproduce the cabin from TED2.  I didn't compare with old footages but it's look pretty close. The windows are condemned but not broken.  I wonder how they reproduce it inside the cabin.  This could explain a lot of things.
