Thanks for the info, I didn't know there were casts of it floating around. I've definitely seen it (or a copy) for sale online before somewhere. Perhaps this one has a little more credence coming for The Propstore of London? (or they've been fooled).

There's 4 editions if you count the now extremely rare German book of the dead latex cover release .. somebody posted here a while back that rubbing baby oil over the rubber covers will stop them splitting and degrading, I haven't tried that myself but it sounds like a good idea to preserve them...

Your best bet would be to paint the entire figure white first then let it dry, air brushing is even better because you'll get a more even finish so loose less detail when you paint colours over that initial base coat .. I've traditionally used paints that table top gamers use to paint tiny...

From painting Demon make-ups in the past, I'd recommend first choosing or mixing up yourself a base colour and applying that on the skin parts first and allowing that to completely dry .. after that, add a slightly darker brown colour to your base colour paint and paint that into the recesses...
