I think everyone's got good points going here, honestly - I'm going to be deconstructing the show's failings and falterings and success fairly soon myself. Good on everyone for staying polite here!

Hmm, I could've sworn they were in post-production, but you're right and I did see them on a red carpet recently. The person who cut the fan trailer together is super talented; their use of original footage was pretty seamless.

My byword is always Ash and the Army of Darkness and Ash Gets Hitched. ALWAYS. Best comics they ever put out. Space Goat's Evil Dead 2 comics are also fun, as is the Freddy/Jason/Ash comic series. Otherwise the first part of the Dynamite original arc is pretty good.

I can't tell you how happy I'd be if that's true (the last thing I want is Fede's...influence involved in Labyrinth). Fede loves to spitball like this on Twitter. The editing process for his Lisbeth Salander must be running long. I wouldn't be shocked if this happens down the way. Also sadly...

One other thing I noticed - after we spent so much time in episode 8 focusing on Ash and Brandy and Kelly's hell exit giving the souls down in purgatory some hope, we never go back to them/see them find their own way out. They established the thing and then did nothing with it!

I'm going to write a long-form deconstruction about what went wrong or right with the show. All I can say is that it started out about as strong as Starz wanted it to be (it rose to a million viewers for its season 1 finale), but a ton of things happened to drag them down, from the skeezy way...

I'm 100 percent a realist about Bruce saying "no Ash ever", because he said it for years and years before AvED and literally at the beginning of the season was like "I'm in it for the ride as long as Starz wants me". His last three pilots failed and his last indy production hasn't "gotten out"...

@Joem1k IMO everyone but Kelly and Ruby've finally gotten some great character development this season. I'm still holding out hope for Kelly but IDK.
