I think Blunt Talk much like anything Seth McFarlane has ever been involved with was funny for 5 seconds, and then turned into a train wreck of epic proportions. AvED still has a chance, but I'm not sure Starz knows exactly what they have... but I have my fingers crossed that with a new show...

If Starz were smart they would give the show a proper lead in by partnering AvED with one of their strongest shows.

Sad news on the passing of Carrie fisher. It will make seeing the next however many Star Wars movies they make kind of weird in that she was going to be a pretty big part. Rest well, and give death the finger.

The fire stuff is understandable. I just watched the behind the scenes video that Starz posted, and most of the Henrietta stuff was done with a puppet. I can't help, but think it would have been 100% cgi had it been done last year so they have stepped things up in some ways... and gone backwards...

I thought they stepped things up by using less cgi in season 2, and didn't really see any problem with image quality although anything shot digitally looks too clean to me.

I think everyone was left with more questions than answers after this finale, and I'm not sure I can... or want to try to answer any of the question so our only hope is that most of them will be answered in season 3. We shall see how things go when they start shooting again this Spring and into...
