:cool I played it a few times 'back in the day' and without checking, the hero had a Jason mask and yes it was very gory ... for side scroll games I prefered Ghost 'n' Goblins and Wonder Boy though .. Splatterhouse was great. I shall download thankyouverymuch  :)

I don't .. (dons the Sherlock Holmes deer stalker hat) ..... when Swan mentioned Bruce passed this on to Swan originaly, I assumed that this could only have happened in America given the time frame that this badge was 'live'. If that's the case, Swan wouldn't want to know its worth in UK pounds...

The best advice is to go to art school, learn how to work in different mediums, learn light and shadow etc .. but most people can't be bothered with all that and want to jump straight into making splatter F/X .. I can't reccomend these Tom Savini books highly enough. They're very expensive now...

Thanks for the recomendation but to be honest I've never been that excited about Josh's other stuff. I think I'll wait and see if I can find his extended journal some other way.

The film's working title was 'The Book of the Dead' ... I don't believe they made any buttons with that title at that time but I hope I'm wrong. The only button/badges I know of are the I Bled for The Evil Dead badges ... a promotional badge that was sometimes also given away if you gave blood...

I haven't read Rushes but I want to ... what extra Ed journal stuff is in it? (it was online first)... I've also only ever seen this individual booklet before. Was it reprinted for different releases...

For me, it's like a magic trick ... it's all about misdirection so the more tricks you have up ylour sleeve, CGI, practical F/X, editing, acting and always the most underated of all, the sound and music .. if any of those out way the others in a movie, you'll be watching crap.
