I like how Tom ends up doing his own introduction... sometimes it is best to leave it to the professionals. Anything with Josh Becker gets a thumbs up from me for that alone.
I get a kick out of Jeremy Jahns for some reason. The first time I ever saw one of his reviews was for The Hobbit... and speaking of the before mentioned George Lucas his Star Wars: Episode I review was absolutely hilarious.
No. I said I had more faith in Sam Raimi and company... than in anything George Lucas has ever done.
Faces will surely melt after reading your last comment, or minds will be blown. Either way it is going to be very messy.
$62 million is a respectable number... If and/or when they make an Army of Darkness II it will undoubtedly pull in even more do to the simple fact that Bruce Campbell+Sam Raimi= pure awesomeness. The stories alone that would come out while making it would be worth pure gold.
That would be the cliffhanger to end all cliffhangers.
And as far as video games go... I'm all for a Hail to the King update so long as they fix the damn controls.
Unfortunately. A lot of people seem like they are not able to get past the original trilogy, and are panning this movie for that reason alone which is sad. It was very good. You can certainly tell Fede had never written a full length script, but that is not a swipe at him... Sam hadn't either...
Nothing can keep me away. Not even the fear of losing a limb, or my skin. I'll just put some duct tape on it... and everything should be fine. Now I wonder when, or if anyone is going to show up with a tattoo from the new movie.
He is trying to stave off carpal tunnel. So that he can fight off deadites and other assorted things like... Well, you know. I'm only kidding, and apologize for going off topic.
The above review by Mr. Cramps (if I may) was long, but nifty. I agree with the last line wholeheartedly.
It all depends on how the scene and/or scenes work in the context of the movie as a whole. There has to be some reason, and I doubt it was done just for the hell of it... There is enough cutting of people in this movie to make any emo happy.
That is the thing... I'm sure there is more to the the scene with Mia singing, and it might not have worked well with what was already there. Fede mentioned in an interview having to tighten things up a bit for one reason, or another. So it might be a casualty of that. Thinking about the scene...
I hope it was just for time and/or pacing issues. Plus they need some extras for the dvd when it comes out, but I have yet to heard anything about why either scene was missing.
I just got back from a second viewing of the movie. Promptly ordered all of the original movie posters and the new one... Much like Ash in Army of Darkness I suddenly found myself saying "Dear god, it's growing bigger" when thinking about my collection.
