I still need to hear the context of the question, TBH.  I'm not comfortable getting excited, especially after he "agreed" with Fede about doing that bridging sequel, then spent every interview afterward saying he was "full of crap" and there was "no need for the two universes to meet." Also...

I always love hearing updates about Kassie's career; I actually followed the soap she was on for years (and will continue to follow it once the whole ABC/Prospect park lawsuit clears up).  I love that she returned to horror after all this time!

I still adore this interview, Elise - and I love that Ellen is absolutely rock-solid on the fact that she didn't enjoy herself one single second shooting that film (and I cannot blame her for it AT.  ALL).  I loved the details they gave you!

I find it very interesting that all of the talk's shifted away from a remake sequel and toward AOD 2. I'm with Elise, honestly.  I think Sam WANTS to do another movie in the series...but I also think he's easily distracted by the next big opportunity: see: him having ten pages five years ago...

@Jake- And I swear that they mention heroin by name specifically somewhere either in the script or through pre-press interviews. IDK. I rented it from the library for a couple of days for a professional review elsewhere and all my other knowledge comes from my friend, who's a huge Jane Levy...

You're welcome, Swofty. Between the needle and the powder, the script seems to lean toward Mia being a heroin junkie. @Kain - I don't remember her being credited by name in the press, nor in the script beyond "Girl In the Woods."

SO!  I finally saw it several plus weeks ago, and after giving it a heavy rewatch about two weeks hence for a pro review. My honest opinion?  A four out of ten.  Some reasons: The only question I'm left with is: what happened, guys?  This was supposed to be a "gamechanger" in the horror...
