Damn, this episode is looking good. I'm getting a huge "Evil Dead" vibe from these pics, even though the setting is something completely new to it. That deadite on the first pic and some of those pics in the woods look amazing. I think I haven't been this excited about a new episode since Bait. It really looks like the show turned itself around.

RE: Ash vs Evil Dead S01 E06: Killer of Killers Discussion [SPOILERS]
Robo Rider said:
I loved tonight's episode. FBI agent in the men's room fight scene was excellent. Felt bad Ash couldn't pay the bill for the meal but we saw some of that classic Ash arrogance trying to pay it off in other ways. After last weeks episode, I thought the Brujo would actually make some appearance as a spirit or a dream explaining what they need to do next but I guess the Brujo really is gone for good. Loved how the necronomicon kept trying to eat the Brujo's medallion.
Anyone translate the words Ruby spoke when walking the Brujo's home? Also wonder what the black spirit that was following her around was after they saw the goat.
Did the hand finally get strong enough to start getting around on its own again like in Evil Dead 2? Who would have taken it if it didn't get up on its own?
Now for the 1 detail they put into this episode we need to overanalyze. Ruby was called a double-crosser and then burned alive. The skeleton of the Brujo at the time being a deadite says The others will never let you get your hands on the book. Sounds like she's part of the deadites or maybe she was a demon that possessed her and doesn't want to help all the evil in the necronomicon ex mortes free.
Will Amanda have an APB put out on her? I mean she kills her partner and now her boss or other colleague. If he checked in with anyone letting them know he's meeting up with Amanda, she could be in big trouble going on a killing spree.
I also lovbed Kelly's scene with the deli slicer and meat tenderizer mallet. The look on Ash and Pablo's faces were too funny through the door windows.
Anyone else think ash and Amanda might end up together?
All in all this episode was better then a few of the others.
I THINK that was a passage from the original TED bullskrit. I'm pretty sure it was.
Hand speculation:
Either Ruby has the hand or the hand is on a journey of its own to the cabin. I'm pretty sure it's going to attack Ash within the final three episodes.

In-Depth review time (Pro's,Middle's, and Con's)
This episode has a lot of content packed into it with subtle hint's at future relationship's (It's mostly going to be about Pablo and Kelly but i had a theory about amanda and ash relationship and how its going to be play a big part in the cabin ARC) and future story arc's going forward.
Pro's
-The build up before the shit hit the fan was executed very well and it felt very smooth for the pacing of this episode.
- Ash had a very great mixture of character for this episode, He still had the caring side to him while still being that immature jackass we know and love. (didn't end very well for him in that bathroom scene either.)
- Subtle hint's at Kelly actually having feelings for pablo both in the diner scene and some in the trailer scene. (I'll touch on this subject abit more when we hit the theory section of this review)
- The fight scenes in this episode really kicked some ass and then some, it was the shot in the mouth we needed from last episode
- Majority of this episode was practical effects heavy, the skeleton deadite was great call back aswell.
- The one liner's were immense in this episode, everyone had a hand in the one liner bag this week.
- Pablo and Ash's reaction to kelly braining a deadite with meat mallet was just priceless.
-Kelly and Pablo really held there own during the big finale and there wasn't any "ASH DO SOMETHING" or "ASH SAVE US" really shows how much they've progressed in dealing with deadite's. (No drinking game tonight i guess.....*side eye towards maid* )
- Amanda finally seeing ash for who he truly is, and joining the team. *THANK GOD* confetti falls down from the ceiling
- We get to see our first glimpse of a Dark one in this episode.
- Ruby's identity and her motives are slowly starting to be revealed
Middle's (very few middle's this week)
-Ruby "DEATH" scene came out of no where but i have a feeling this is going to be leading somewhere for the next episode.
- Lem's character just appears and they try and make it to where we know this guy from somewhere, it felt very odd. (The actor looks very familiar, i did some looking and i think its the guy who played arthur in army of darkness BUT i could be very wrong on that.)
Con's
*CRICKETS*
"HELLO ?.....HELLO .... huh, wired."
Obersavations/Theroy's
"PABLO AND KELLY" *WARNING BIG SHIPPER OVER HERE*
Now i just wanna point out that this character ARC between these two has been in the spotlight for several episode's now and i have a feeling it's gonna hit it's stride during the cabin ARC, i don't know if anyone noticed but kelly was beating around the bush A-LOT during there conversation's about what happen while she was possessed especially when pablo brings this line up.
"Was all that just a part of you or was that just the demon"
She give's pablo this very nervous look and we never really got a answer to that question because ash comes back just in time before she could answer it. Now the trailer has some very subtle foreshadowing going on within there dialogue and the expression's there making but could just be me over analyzing lets dig in. (sidenote, it's a good thing to point how that the demon's/deadite's really like to bring up personal stuff with from there host, hmmm...)
Pablo could have gotten a answer if he was honest about what he said but he nervousness about the situation got the better of him, kelly seemed very interested in wanting to know what exactly pablo said or did when Keligos was coming onto him.
Now to get into what i think may happen during the cabin arc between these two, and i think the big thing that is gonna happen is "REVENGE" as pablo bluntly put it in his "Yoda" quoting, whatever pablo does or get's done to that ray has been saying in the interviews alot is "Pablo goes through something that no man should ever be put through" is something to take note of, and from i can guess this is gonna set kelly off real bad what ever happens to pablo in this cabin arc.
Overall i'm liking the way they have been building up pablo and kelly relationship over the course of this show, it feel's organic and it ain't being rushed which i like.
Now that's about all i'm gonna touch on this subject now let's move onto Ash and Amanda.
Ash and Amanda or Ash and Linda 2.0
I can't really touch on this subject too much cause i don't wanna spoil future event's but i will just say this, This relationship between ash and amanda is gonna have a big effect on what ash will be like for the rest of the cabin arc, all i can say in short is, get ready for a very emotional ash.
Ruby, Identity and Motive's.
What i'm about to say may contradict what i said eariler about ruby but what the deadite said in this made me very curious if ruby is actually RUBY, let's dig in.
I'm starting to suspect that ruby isn't telling the truth on who she actually is, now i know some things aren't gonna add up but some things will stick in some places.
I think ruby is actually annie knowby and she is using a different name to hide her true identity from everyone, it would make the most sense in how she got the dagger and ash's hand. It was never mentioned that annie had another sister anywhere in the films nor was it really touched upon when she finally revealed some of her history to amanda, i'm really starting to suspect that the dark one's resurrected her and turned her into one of them some how, and now for her motives.
Shes been very manipulative towards amanda since they started there team, and i'm kinda wondering if she isn't using her as a pawn for ash, cause the evil force and her have been very adamant in protecting her and leading her towards ash, now the brujo skeleton briefly mentioned ruby taking the book for herself, now that is truly intriguing. Her motives have been in the grey area so far but i have a feeling a lot will be revealed during the next episode.
Taking the opportunity to dump my own Ruby spec in here; this is again just a Wild Mass Guess versus anything that might be canon:
My current best guess is that she sold her soul to the dark ones to gain either the skills or the firepower to track Ash and get her revenge - they get Ash's soul and the book, she gets to grind her heel in the face of the guy who apparently killed her entire family. Her lover became collateral damage in the fight, which woke her up and caused her to rebel against the DOs and try to claim the book and its power for herself.
Addressing the Pablo spec in my own thoughts below. RE Ash and Amanda
she completely disappears by the 9th/10th episode from the spec, and she's nowhere in that clip. Part of my spec is that she dies and Pablo's sacrifice involves resurrecting her and/or returning Ash to his body after he gets possessed in ep 8.

Was that scene with Lem in the forest the same forest as the opening of Evil Dead 2013? It looked very reminiscent if not, especially the zoom in shot, I kept expecting to see deadite Mia out there.
It's the forest that's on the Ren Pictures backlot - they specifically planted it with American pine trees to make it look like the midwest according to the pre-press for the remake. It's the same one that Fede tried to claim was haunted during the same press tour

I checked VirginMedia OnDemand at the off-chance the episode would be there today, (it wasn't there saturday) and got a nice surprise! I thought I'd might have to wait until Tuesday since that was when the other episodes were uploaded. I think they just did that because Tuesday was the first day of the month.
Another nice thing- the sound issues are rectified.
A great episode! I found the Ash and the waitress stuff a bit tacky, but it kinda paid off when Amanda turned up. It has been established that this is the kind of man Ash is now. Fair enough.
It was nice to see Ash's caring side. Not just with the other two but with is exchange with Lem. (I.e He was concerned about lem using firearms on the drink and seemed to disapprove of his connection to the militia, although he seemed happy to exploit it for more weapons himself.... which is understandable under the circumstances.)
I have mixed feelings concerning the Amanda's development. On one hand, her constantly assuming Ash is the enemy was getting tired, so it's nice that has finished, but I felt that she teamed up with them too soon. I would have liked her to have spent a bit more with Ruby as well. (And how did Ruby vanish so quickly, I wonder?)
Oh, and another tacky moment. "I woud love to.... come... with you." (Although that might have been Ash's one track imagination starting to kick into gear. As he fantasised about her hitting on him shortly after, with that racket stringing metaphor. Or maybe it's just my own dirty mind seeing an inflection that wasn't there.)
I never really noticed the fact the Deadites have been operating in the sunlight, when they haven't (much) in the past! While one did come out into the sun in AoD (despite being in a shadowy pit, one did crawl out into the sun and got a facefull of boomstick) it's not something we saw much of in the films. In AoD I put their resistance to sunlight down to the Evil having a greater hold on the land, as the so called plague of the dead had been in fruition for quite a while before Ash turned up.
Maybe the Evil already has a greater hold than it did in the first two films, possibly due to different passages being recited. Or just the fact that more time has already passed than occurred in the films.
That situation with the shadow and Ruby was interesting. It was clearly shown that the shadow and the force in the woods were separate things. The cowled look suggested a Dark One to me as well, but I also wondered if it was the Brujo's spirit. We do know from ED2, that not all the spirits are evil. Human sprits sometimes manage to return as well. And that exchange between Ruby and the Brujo deadite* was certainly interesting.
I wondered what that whole business between the book and the amulet was about. It looked like the book was attempting to eat it, but I wonder if it was actually some kind of beneficial effect from the amulet itself. The fact the book fell open on that particular page... if I saw correctly, wasn't there a picture of the dagger next to the skull? Is the dagger somehow a key removing the Evil? I thought both would have been created by the Dark Ones, but I guess they might have wanted a weapon in case their own spells are drawn out of their control. Like the humans that followed, they might have gotten more than they bargained for.
I figured Brujo magic was cat-corner though not the same as Kandarian/Dark one magic.
The mythology is getting so very muddy.

Well, after watching my favorite football team get destroyed tonight I thought I would finally sit down to watch Ash vs Evil Dead... and see some Deadites and/or people get destroyed. I wasn't let down. It was shocking to see what they did with Ruby so early on in the episode, and the poor little kid. However, we did get to see Kelly go crazy with a meat slicer and a tenderizer.
/Ash's face plant in the urinal was pretty sick.
//Michael Hurst brought back some of those weird Xena like camera angles which are a plus.
We also get some cool pics from the crew like this one of Nancy.

LOTS of improvement this week. Also quite busy today, but didn't want to fall too far behind, so just a couple of quick thoughts:
- Ruby: thinking he was taken to meet with the Dark Ones to explain why she betrayed them (thinking maybe they retrieved the hand/dagger and gave them to Ruby so she could hunt down the book, but instead she's hunting Ash for the death of her sister). Glad to see something happening with her character.
- Amanda: If this is all they've been building to... what a slow burn just to have her join up with them. I don't really feel like her character went through any development in all those episodes that she couldn't have gone through in this episode alone. Would have preferred just seeing her in the pilot, then her showing up here. More of a surprise, and everything else still works. Plus Ruby's scene at Brujo's would have been cooler as a single-person narrative - we get to see her carefully wander the grounds, try to fight a skeleton and then disappear. Much more dramatic in my opinion.
- Kelly and Pablo: Inevitable, but still not a fan. I get why every show puts in some sort of love story, but I personally don't think its necessary to always have a will they/wont they theme.
- Just Kelly: Liked that they addressed her feelings about deadites and allowed her to let off some steam. Would have preferred to see more emotion there (hitting harder and harder with the tenderizer while breaking down emotionally), but I'm just happy it got addressed, since that was one of the things that's been bugging me about her character.
- The book: Happy they addressed the attempted burning. We need more of this sort of info. Even if they don't go so far as to try and explain all the little inconsistencies, I think at least a little bit of world-building would help (like what we're getting with the Dark Ones). As far as the book trying to eat the locket - nice little callback to AoD with the book itself being able to attack.
- Lem: Felt a bit odd to run into an old friend like that - would have been easy to say that Ash had called ahead to meet with someone. Lem could have been ex-militia, and kicked out for drinking (but still had his connections so Ash would go through him to talk to the militia guys). Would have taken one or two lines of dialogue, and cleared all of that up.
- Militia: Did anyone else get the feeling that maybe Ash was a former militia member, or at least friendly with them at some point in the past? I think that'd be a great backstory for Ash: post-cabin, he's paranoid as hell and joins up with a local militia to get his hands on as much firepower as possible, but then gets the boot after getting drunk and telling them about the evil and cutting up his girlfriend with a chainsaw.
- Final thoughts: MUCH improved on the previous episodes, and really hoping they keep it up!
That would actually be interesting - we see a lot of rusted weights outside of Ash's trailer when the show opens - I imagine that for a few years he was paranoid the Deadites would come back, then relaxed into party mode when they didn't.

Shouldn't the 2 people wearing ski's and the chef have turned into deadites after the force blew through the diner as well?
I think those weren't possessed because their brains were destroyed. I'm still not sure how this works in the series. It's not enough if you separate the head from the body (like with Lionel), but you need to destroy the brain. It sounds like generic zombie crap, but didn't they follow the same rule in the movies? Linda was walking headless, but just because the head wasn't destroyed. Same thing with Henrietta. She survived cutting her head off, but the headshot then did the trick.
The tattoo girl on the first episode took a shotgun blast to the head and kept coming even though she was missing half her head. You could clearly see that she didn't have much of a brain left. Actually, the only episode so far where the deadites actually acted like the deadites from the movies was the first episode. They levitated, mangled their own bodies and moved like flesh marionettes. My guess is that it was Raimi's influence. From that point on, they've been treating deadites pretty much like regular sentient zombies. Even though they've actually done some cool stuff with them, it's been kinda disappointing. They've been missing a lot of opportunities to do some creative stuff with them.
@MaidOfKandar - I just tried the multiple quotes thing on another thread and it worked! Thanks!
And you've definitely caught something there. The 'rules' for possession and the rules for Deadite behavior keep getting mangled. Also glad you got blockquotes to work for you!

I just know that if they end up getting together at the end of the season, it means we'll probably have to deal with their relationship issues moving forward into Season 2, or a Ross/Rachel break-up/make-up thing constantly happening. Which isn't inherently awful, I guess - just not something I feel matches the overall tone of Evil Dead.
The only relationship drama we should get in Evil Dead should be "but I can't cut up my significant other with a (insert weapon here)! I love them! (cuts them up anyway)" and "I can't believe you killed me! You loved me! Now I'll swallow your soul!"
I don't know if it's going to be a comfort or a horror to you that the official Twitter literally called Pablo and Kelly the "horror version of Ross and Rachel".
Ash Williams Forever said:
Sorry if these questions have been answered already, but:
1) Why did Kelly call her face an "ugly mug" when saying how she'd deal with more deadites?
2) When Ash was saying "Gaylord, "Gladmon," etc. to Lem, was he trying to ask places of where his militant group was?
3) When talking to Kelly and Pablo at the diner, he mentioned stopping somewhere first, and when they did, he wanted Pablo to refuel the chainsaw. What place? Why didn't he say what it was?
Adding on to #2 - Gaylord and Gladmon are also cities in Michigan, so that was definitely what he was doing.
@chainsaw_master: Joining DyD and agreeing to disagree with ya, dude. I'm just glad you're having fun watching the show.
RE Deadites being out in the daytime: that's never been rock-solid in canon. We see Deadites in the daytime in AOD and TED (The force rushing Ash in both cases), but in ED 2 it's solid canon that the light drives them away. In AOD and ED2 the Deadites deliberately speed time to bring on the night, but in TED the force attacks Ash flat out. So it's a crapshoot at this point as to what's right.
And now, here my Opinion:
What Worked:
* The three fight scenes, natch. Well-choreographed, properly blood soaked, an actually decent general use of practical and cgi effects, and actually fun to watch. Did they use the same stunt coordinator from Xena?
* The bits of camaraderie we got with Kelly, Ash and Pablo. They're slowly but surely refusing to take his crap while supporting him, which is a welcome shift (I wish Pablo would be a tenth less worshipful of him, tho. Just a tenth). Ash watching Kelly grind the waitress' head up like a proud parent sealed that for me.
* The Ash logic that suggests hard candy will instantly melt in cold water and work as a cologne.
* We finally found the only woman in the entire AvED universe who's not sexually attracted to Ash! That was refreshing.
* Actual callback to Ash trying to burn the book in the fireplace in the first movie.
What I Have Misgiving About:
* I still feel like they're going the wrong way about building Kelly and Pablo's relationship. At this point she could write "I'm just not that into you sexually, Pablo," on his chest in lipstick and he'd think she was inviting to him to some kind of secret kink party. They're cute when we're not stuck in the "I love you Kelly/sorry Pablo you're like my sexless little brother" roundelay, but a lot of mileage on the storyline could've been trimmed. At this point they're portraying her love as something he's 'earning' with his bravery versus his understanding of who she is and his kindness, and that is just plain unhealthy. They could've easily had them mutually fall for one another and it would've been simpler - in a show like that there's no need for the conflict.
* Codicil to the above: since when does Deadite behavior reveal the "true" feelings of its chosen vessel? We know that the demons can look within and use snippets of their host's emotional connections and personality to entrap others, but Deadites do not act as lie detectors (yes, even mind demons. Especially mind-fogging demons that aren't even powerful enough to know that their host body practices Judaism).
* Dana's acting is still all over the map for me.
* Dialogue vacillates between being funny and "off". Ash doesn't have to constantly shout one-liners, folks.
* The effect on the Dark one is nice...felt Guilermo Del Torro-ish for me. Maybe TOO GDT, it looked like it escaped from Mama.
What Didn't Work:
* Ash and Amanda have no chemistry. Noooo chemistry, even in spite of the desperate destiny anvils they're dropping with them, and I have no idea what's wrong because Bruce generally has chemistry with everyone. I buy that Ash wants to screw her (I also buy that he wants to screw every woman over the age of 21 that crosses his line of sight) but I don't buy that he cares about her, or that this version of Ash is even capable of caring for a woman as a romantic partner.
* Amanda's thoughtline as a character is a total mess. She's tough enough to kick Ash's ass in hand-to-hand combat yet cowers in fear of Deadites once she runs out of bullets. I know what they're trying to do (make her tough enough to SEEM independent but "weak" enough to be a rescuable damsel for Ash), but it doesn't work. It just ends up being annoying and turning her into a walking INSERT LOVE INTEREST HERE placemarker. I also feel weirdly as if her Deadite learning curve is far behind Pablo and Kelly's. Even they know how to kill these things already! I want to like Amanda but they keep putting up obstacles for me. Why not make her as cool-minded and tough consitantly as she is in the pilot?
* Ruby and Amanda's team up was a totally wasted opportunity. All of that build up and we got one moment of them fighting together (With Amanda again coming out the weaker partner) and one little stroke to the cheek. It all added up to a load of nothing. Either they should've teamed up at the diner in the pilot or they never should have been together at all; they left each other unchanged and the only thing their interaction established was that Ruby might be bisexual.
* The Lem storyline is obvious busy work/filler stuff to prevent them from getting to the cabin too quickly. I buy that Ash would have a friend like him, but I just don't care about his fate, or think that they need the weapons stores he's offering when Ash survived the cabin with his bare hands, a gun and a saw in the first place.
* The waitress stuff lasted forever. How Ash didn't get the hint he was being rejected is beyond me -and they could've effected the exact same storyline in the exact same way by having him try to climb out the men's room window, or just go in to take a leak and then have Amanda surprise him.
* There was way too much unwarranted attention paid to the kid eavesdropping on Ash in the toilet. Why the hell did he rush the battle? Who sees what he saw and does that?
My guess is that they're going to try to pay that off by having him be the vessel for Ruby's lover's spirit, but even then it makes no sense to spend that much time on him.
General Spec and Thoughts:
Ray's been talking nonstop in interviews about Pablo making a sacrifice 'no man should have to make', as Joe points out above. Pablo's dialogue in this episode caused me to start thinking
that something might happen to a part of his anatomy. An intimate part.
The sacrifice would have to be extreme and since he basically says in this episode he would gladly let himself get killed by Ash in Deadite form one has to wonder what's going on.
Also RE those shots from this week:
Amanda is looking over those bodies almost tenderly in one of those shots has made me rather curious. Does she have connections to the militia?
* The three fight scenes, natch. Well-choreographed, properly blood, an actually decent general use of practical effects, and actually fun to watch. Did they use the same stunt coordinator from Xena?
No. The stunt coordinator is Leah Goffe Robertson according to IMDB, and the assistant coordinator is Tim Wong who has worked on Xena in the past as well as on The Lord of the Rings (as a stunt double for Frodo) which was picking up steam as Xena went off the air. In fact I'm sure LotR was as big a reason as any as to why Xena ended when it did. He was also a part of the Spartacus crew, and has done a lot of stunts for big shows/movies.

That’s pretty much what I’m going with as well, except I think she wants the book to actually revoke the deal that she made, bring her lover back from the dead and maybe save her soul.
You know what I'd like to see? If the whole thing turned out to be Ruby's fault and not Ash's. She made a deal with the dark ones to get revenge on Ash, but it backfired and released the evil once again. Now she's searching for Ash and the book not only because she wants revenge, but also to undo the damage she has done and save her soul. This way, Ash remembering that he read from the book while high would turn out to be just a red herring to the audience and Ash himself. After the truth is revealed, Ash would go back to those notes taped to the pages of the book and see that they really are just some weird poetry or something else that isn't a pronunciation of the actual text in the book. He didn't notice it before because he was high when he read it and when he remembered it, he panicked and just assumed that was the reason the evil had returned.
Yeah, that’s never gonna happen and a lot of details on the show don't quite line up with that. But hey, you gotta admit that's an interesting idea and that it'd be a nice twist.

Yeah, losing the crew to a bigger years long production would have hurt the show even more than it was already hurting... and there was the fact that Peter Jackson wanted Lucy Lawless originally to play Galadriel before Cate Blanchett came in. The only problem was she was pregnant at the time.

-It's subtly suggested in the early episodes that pablo and kelly have known each other for quite some time now so i could imagine his gotten to know her more when they became neighbors, yes i do agree that some of the storyline here comes off as cheesy and some of it could be trimmed, but i do have to disagree about the earning her love part, pablo is heart broken by what kelly say's in the trailer but get he gets over it and is onto the next subject rather quickly an basically confront's her in the next scene on her wanting revenge against the deadites. it looks like in the next episode it looks like the subject will be more in the BG and we'll be seeing more of how pablo and kelly work as a team without ash which im excited to see.
-Yes i did kinda go half-baked with this point now didn't i, but i still can't help but feel they weren't implying something with this line
"Was any of that a part of you or was it all a demon ?"
i've said this time and time again she had this very strange look on her face about it and she never did answer this question straight either, it could just be me reading into the scene's too much, and it's also another thing to note that pablo seem's to be confused as to whether or not he actually likes kelly, if you remember back in "Host" he did say "I just don't think im ready for this" and it feels like he keeps going back and forth between Crush/Friend. Hell he didn't even tell her what exactly he said to keligos and just went straight to "i blacked out", it's like his constantly battling with his emotions about it that it ends being his own worst enemy but also his saving grace. Like ash put it
"i was like you once, young....dumb ...full of conflicting emotions"
It will be interesting to see how pablo grows as a character during the cabin ARC, and what this sacrifice will be.
Hopefully it isn't his 'Intimate' parts and it's more then just him cutting off one of his limbs, it seems like it's going to be a big heroic moment that involves one of the characters.

Yeah, losing the crew to a bigger years long production would have hurt the show even more than it was already hurting... and there was the fact that Peter Jackson wanted Lucy Lawless originally to play Galadriel before Cate Blanchett came in. The only problem was she was pregnant at the time.
Lucy had an excellent interview in the NYT a few weeks ago where she addressed that situation in depth. The Xena shoot was difficult enough to encourage the break on top of the birth of her second son.

General Spec and Thoughts:
Ray's been talking nonstop in interviews about Pablo making a sacrifice 'no man should have to make', as Joe points out above. Pablo's dialogue in this episode caused me to start thinking
that something might happen to a part of his anatomy. An intimate part.

@Joe - Oh, I know they're supposed to be friends of at least a few years judging from the narrative, and he's had a torch for her burning along for that amount of time. I just wish they'd gone about portraying it in a more accessible way.
And yeah, he does - but they keep having this talk, and it's the same basic one they had in BFB. I love Pablo as a character - he's actually my favorite character in the show at the moment in spite of my misgivings re the more stereotypical trappings they gave his origin story. I'm not saying he's not sympathetic, I'm saying I'm tired of this kinda storyline getting trotted forth over and over again.
And you're not wrong about the fact that
there's something there between them, they're clearly going to kiss by the last episode judging from one of the cues in the score.
@Nick - Joe caught that link earlier
Additional thought on the set
It's very 'A-Team gets possessed', isn't it?
@DyD - I love that additional spec - it'd actually continue along with the thought-line Bruce keeps using in interviews about Ruby being a "completely justified" version of Ash.
RE: Ash vs Evil Dead S01 E06: Killer of Killers Discussion [SPOILERS]
Found a interesting photo that's from this episode and it leads me to believe that there was more to this episode or this was a deleted scene, either way i can't wait to see if we get extended version's of these episodes for the blu ray/dvd set.
