At least Bruce will be "appearing" in audio form instead of being shown during the credits. I remember sitting in the theater after the second screening of Evil Dead 2013 when a guy stood up and very loudly told everyone to stay until the very end which kind of ruined it for those watching for the first time.

Fede said they used 70,000 gallons, but 50,000 gallons was used for the blood rain in the last scene alone... and according to Google the original movie used in the neighborhood of 200-300 gallons.

Downright excited to see people in line holding tickets to another Evil Dead movie even if the rest of us have to wait 36 more days to see it in our local theaters.

Can confirm people are sharing their thoughts, and early reviews are trickling in on IMDB (for what it is worth) putting it at 8.8 with 13 reviews... but if you don't want to be spoiled I would avoid the Evil Dead Rise hashtag on all forms of social media even if it does have a cool cheese grater emoji.

From what i'm hearing from some of the reactions, it's a mix of 2013 tone with the dark comedic tone of the raimi trilogy specifically evil dead 2 and blends together into a great mix.
Sounds like a best of both worlds situation to me! Can't wait!

Woah. First time I've seen that happen at a premiere for the franchise.
I'm seeing a lot of mixed to positive too, some interesting stray comments that have me intrigued
Several people saying they cried during the film, but not from the brutality - they were emotionally moved. I can't parse whether the humor is intentional because I keep reading that it's either filled with sly witty subtle humor or that it's the most serious entry in the franchise ever, people are saying completely disparate things about it.
