Evil Dead Steel Book Releases

[Kain]

So what's the difference between Steel Book release and regular blu-ray releases?

Looks like the Evil Dead remake blu-ray will be out August 5th:

I hope its not the theatrical cut only.

So are Steel Book releases pretty barebones with a nice case?

[Names_Ash_Housewares]

Its a steel case instead of the standard plastic one, that's about it, some films have extra features only available in the steel book release, where as Prometheus for example had more in the 3D blu ray release than the steel book.

I have heard about steel book. The only thing added is the UltraViolet Copy of the movie so you can make a digital copy, and the case. There isn't anything new added.

Yeah pretty much. I don't ever care to throw more money away for a fancy case so I never bother.

I for one am a sucker for steelbooks, I have The Evil Dead UK steelbook and the case looks really nice outside and especially the inside but the special features are the same as the US bluray release.
