Necronomicon page (in color or not ?)

hello I have a quick question about the Necronomicon. In the movies the pages seem to be in "dried blood" color , but the reproductions that I have seen of Tom Sullivan's drawings are in color ...(red, blue, yellow , green)
In your opinion the cinema version (screen used prop) is only blood colored, or slightly in color (which cannot be seen due to the lighting)

In the movies/games/comis/TV shows, the pages have colors, they aren't only red or brownish (as real blood turns once dry). My guess is that the Sumerians used dyes to mix with the blood...
