Now this I'm not sure of, but I bet at least one of us has some inkling!
When i get home next week, I am more than happy to go through the blu-ray and list them

I can't recall all of them from the top of my head, but when you know a movie inside out like most of us on these forums do, they jump right out at you! One that i do remember (and it upset me at time of watching) was audio fades/blends that were never there before... in example; the background music which plays as Ash leaves at cabin at sunrise - the music always ended before the cut to the evil force point of view of the leaf... in the blu-ray, as the leaf is on screen, the music can still be heard fading out.
I'm not keen on the blu-ray to be honest.. audio edits and visual edits/digital painting over the image is bad enough, but even the image isnt as good as most folk make it out to be; sure, the source material has limitations when it comes to HD.. but my problem is the digital noise reduction and edge enhancement, masked by a fake grain overlay. One scene that comes to mind as a point of reference; as ash leaves the cellar and the clock makes big ben chimes, pause it as ash steps away holding the shotgun... now compare that to the herald videogram laserdisc, and you'll see details/creases absent on his shirt... brickwork in the background of the cabin wall disappears; all results of DNR.
The grain you see is applied afterwards... if you want to see the real quality of your blu-ray image, checkout the german 'remastered' version, which is the starz print without the fake grain applied, and you'll see the blu-ray is just as bad as the anchor bay Evil Dead 2 blu-ray
Best print for video and original mono audio is still the HV laserdisc in my opinion
