Hello everyone. Bruce Campbell here. This urgent message is short, because my keystrokes are monitored and I fear for my life. My partner at Dark Horse comics, Mike Richardson (normally a very rational and talented man), threatened to have his foot soldiers “crush my spleen” if I did what I am about to do. But the fans deserve to know, so with great trepidation I officially announce Bruce Vs. Frankenstein, the sequel to My Name is Bruce. Principal photography begins this fall in Oregon. I’d like to live long enough to see the cameras roll, so please, for the love of God, do not tell anyone – I can’t risk this announcement getting back to Mike! Thank you.
Possible great news for Evil Dead fans. According to /Film Sony has decided to scrap Spiderman 4 start all over with a franchise rebooot! Sam Raimi has now walked away from the film after script and scheduling concerns. Check out /Film for more details! Does this mean Sam Raimi will now have time to focus on Evil Dead 4!? According to Comic Vine, a 488 page compilation of the first 18 issues of the acclaimed series with story arcs from Ashes To Ashes to Army of Darkness vs. Re-Animator is coming out this February. The first volume is available to order through Diamond Previews or through your local comic book shop.
Infinite Hollywood has posted a review of the rare Ash holiday figure that was made by the now defunct toy company Palisades Toys. The figure was made a few years ago as an exclusive just for friends and retailers of the toy company.
Apparently there is a fan-made 2D fighting game called TerrorDrome: Rise of the Boogeymen that features horror icons from the 80s including our favorite badass Ash. The game looks like a inspired mix of Mortal Kombat and Killer Instinct. The full game isn’t out yet but there’s a demo available on their site.
