NO wait i'm wrong on that theory, cause the demon kid is already there in the basement when ash first goes down there with his flashlight attached boomstick.

The thing that made me think you could be right is the small bit in the preview that shows something coming out of an amniotic sack of some kinda. Like is being born. My guess is that it's the demon child. Combine that with the supposed sex scene between Ash and Ruby that we keep hearing about, and you're theory starts to make so much sense it's scaring me.

Well i think that could be where pablo pukes out a small fleshy like sack but will probably grow in size with ruby using some type of enchantment to enhance it's growth, and from this photo here (http://www.farfarawaysite.com/section/evildead/gallery10/hires/2.jpg) ruby is completely spotless while book-pablo is practically a mess.

Yeah, I guess you're right. That's a relief. Dude... Don't scare me like that. XD

I'm willing to bet she's trying to grow it back to adult sized rapidly so she can have her boyfriend back immediately and not have to raise her creepy Toshio-clone boyfriend-child.

Like i said very very out there theroy  XD

does anyone else get the feeling kelly is going to be facing her own personal demons in this finale, and being the one that ultimately saves ash and pablo from ruby, if that is going to be the case i can't wait to see that play out.

I just think the scene in the clip is nothing more than Ruby trying to fool Ash with visions and false promises.

My theory is that Ruby ensured that Ash cut the face off because if she wrote the book she couldn't be allowed to do it herself. Only the possessor of the book could which is why she needed the passing of the book to her ritual. She needed the face to be cut off so she could transform someone into the demon child. Which let's face it is the same size as Pablo. I think Pablo get's transformed into that demon.

The clip is another acid trip where Ruby is offering him the last 10 years of his life to be lived in peace and tranquility. Not the previous 10 years that doesn't make any sense why she would correct him on that.

If they go this route, I bet we'll get a "True love saves" moment with Pablo and Kelly.  If.

Man, that would guarantee Ash would die at 67.

If they're really going the route of making Ash the official "owner" of the book, to the point that a ritual is needed to transfer ownership to someone else, then the complete lack of explanation on how Ash even got the book in his possession just turned into a even bigger plot hole.

Now i don't know if this is true or not but color me very interested if this turn's out to be true.... (DON'T READ THIS IS IF YOU DON'T WANT THIS SPOILED FOR YOU)

Well, if ruby is an ancient one possessing the body of a random person who isn't really a daughter of the dr.knowbie, I think that the last person to take possession of it would have to be Ash for the last 30 years. That's if you shove the whole plot point of Ash burning the book in the first Evil Dead movie. Got to love that writers team that wrote us into a wall but somehow we look up and realize "Hey look, a rope that leads up."

Here's two articles i found that have two crucial detail's for the finale.

I'm willing to bet he  either took ruby up on her offer....OR it's something completely different. Either way it should have been expected in this finale that ash f**k's up big time.

And this one aswell (MAJOR SPOILER'S, DON'T READ UNLESS YOU WANT TO)

"Although he has had his times where he could have just ran, his hero side has shined through in some clutch moments. But in the next episode, he is about get an offer from Ruby and the true "Evil Dead" that might put him on the path to peace"

The true "evil dead" ....are we about to see the big head honcho in this episode ?

That still doesn't work, because it makes no sense as to how Ash would have the book in the first place.  So it's more like the rope is leading up to a dead end.  Like a bad Mario Maker level.

Here's a interview with bruce campbell that has a small but crucial detail at the end of it for the finale.

Would someone please remind Bruce that the 'Ash fucks up' stuff is an AOD invention?  Everything else is just fate screwing him over, and even in AOD excuses can be made.  Sounds like they made a controversial choice (my best guess is that he either goes with Ruby and reboots continuity back to the start of the show, thus allowing for alive Amanda and non-possessed Pablo, or he ditches everyone at the cabin; if it's the former that sets a dangerous precedent where they can keep going back and nothing that happens in the show will ever matter, the former makes him look like a dipshit. so nobody wins.  Probably why the terseness).  They're lucky that Starz renewed them before the ratings started rolling in and they started getting regularly steamrolled by Sweetie Pie's and Deadly Women repeats, apparently this idea was conjured into being in case they were cancelled.

Also ugh there should be no big bad.  The point is that the Evil consists of tons of ancient demons.

They keep mentioning that the deal changes him, what could they mean by that....does he gain power's or do they cure him of some type of disease he has that is slowly killing him ? I'm really curious as to what this change might be...

Wild mass guess: it makes him part Deadite.

AOD - THREE BOOKS.

One that Ash destroyed in the original Evil Dead.
One that he has now.
One that is owned by John Connor.

Ahem. :D

The serie will end like this :

Ash accept the deal from Ruby.  Word turn into apocalype. Kelly and Pablo try to wake up Ash which turned into a vegetable...In his head, Ash think he is in Jacksonville.  THE END.

I don't think it will end like this but I don't know why I have this end in mind. ;)

looks like kelly and pablo ain't dieing.

Ahem. :D

AOD doesn't count in this continuity, like ED said elsethread; even then things that happened in other franchises also don't count.

My theory is John Conner heads back in time to stop Ash from accepting the deal Rubyt makes him with the help of the delorean time machine and Doc Brown in the driver seat. The machine gets busted half way through the time jump so he asks for help from Bil and Ted to go further back in time with the help of their telephone booth time machine. Robocop gets in ion the action and shoots half the deadites. Rambo while still being chased by the cops for not killing the guy in the helicopter in the forest bumps into Ash. The Terminator tracks them down and realizes that he needs help from the universal soldiers along with Toy Soldiers. At this point we realize the book fo the dead is also responsible for the puppet master puppets and Jason Voorhees not dying. So Ash has a few more seasons of cleaning up to do.

The only thing that's missing here is Doctor Who. :)
