The timeline is messy, and Ash is probably supposed to be slightly younger than Bruce. I'm guessing they're both meant to be somewhere around 50 in this universe.

It's typical Hollywood casting stuff, imoho - the show'll play them off as being the same age is my guess.  Jill Marie Jones is around sixteen years younger than Bruce, but it never came up.

I'm wondering if they're going to start saying Ash is years younger than Bruce because of the timeline crunch they did to make TED and ED2 happen all in the same weekend in the mid 80s versus in the early 80s.  It should've been the other way around to avoid complications, but if we're talking about continuity headaches I'm still blistered over them de-siblingifying Cheryl and Ash.

I thought that the big joke of the series is that if anything, Ash is actually older than Bruce, with the fake teeth and Ruby telling him he's got only ten more years to live. But it's not that big of a deal I guess...

That means shooting should run from now through mid-summer, just like last year. Interesting that Bruce has been there a good month for pre-prod.

My hope that Ash and Brock have good or at least funny character chemistry; I'm sure Bruce and Lee will work well together at least.

Are they filming out of order, or are they going to have Ruby re-encounter Ash that early in the series?   Is the whole seasom going to be about them trying to tamp down what Ruby let loose?

This has been rumored for a long time, but it's finally been confirmed that Michael J Bassett will be returning to direct the show.  Since they're filming 02.01 last week, he should probably be directing some mid-season episodes.  

Also Ray is using the Requiem for a Dream score to get in the mood for shooting.  I wonder what that means for Pablo.

Ruby takes time after all that went down with Ash and crew to get her hair did, hahaha. Gotta' look good when being so bad. Btw, it looks like Dana and crew are already having a bloody good time, and I can't wait to see some on set pictures.

Ahh, time for the annual showin' of the blood! :D I'm waiting for Bruce's shot of either his wardrobe or his pain relief meds.

Interesting that they're bringing back two directors who had mixed results - Bassett did okay with Bait but was hamstrung by Books from Beyond; Tilse caught the atmosphere of the cabin in Ashes To Ashes but couldn't help how awful the script was in Bound in Flesh. A lot's going to ride on the scripting this season.

Yay to them utilizing Ruby tho.

My best spec is that they end up holed up at Chet's house an it turns into a sort of NOTLD - type situation. Which would have its own problems settingwise.

I love that prop plane POV shot. Only Bruce would go the fifth mile and throw himself into the drink to sell things.

Good to know that little "truce" only last's for the first 4 minutes of the first episode, so it makes me wonder what happens within those first 4 mintues.
