Honestly, if they do go that route, they should do it in the style that the frighteners did it, they could do some neat stuff there with that concept if they went that route. Or just have it all be in ash's head or be a dream/vision sequence with him and his father just sitting on the porch drinking beers, now that i think about it that would probably be the better choice.
 
That would be a fine way to continue to throw in another Jacksonville flashback/dream without overcomplicating matters at least!

Ray's enthusiasm is always infectious.

Looks like we're on the typical schedule of starting in March and wrapping around June/July. Bruce's book tour is starting in August so everything should be in the can post-production wise by then!
 
A little update for s3. 

The Meza Brothers are confirmed to be directing the third episode for s3

Bryan Edward Hill, one of the new writers brought on for S3 wrote episode 8 for this season. I've noticed a pattern with this show and if i know better from the past two seasons ep 8 is usually when the heavy shit goes down for main arc. Honestly can't wait to see what bryan is going to bring to the table !

I can't confirm or deny this actor will be on the show but take this for what you will, A new unknown actor by the name of Lindsey Farris could be playing a part either main or side role in S3, in the source you can see him hanging with the main cast  and dana's stunt double on bruces boat.

Huh, I was absolutely sure that was Bruce's son in that picture (and his wife at the left!) til I tag-clicked; lotta dopplegangers in the cast this year!

They really are heavily hammering on the new showrunner's comic world connections. I don't know if I'm impressed by this guy's credentials.

I love that Bruce had to point that out to her; I'm wondering if he waited until they were on a break on set to do it.
 
Unsurprisingly, Bruce confirms we have no start date for season 3 yet.

Wonder if there'll be timeslot shuffling!

[font=Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif]I went to the Liverool Street in Tuakau, New Zealand in hope of getting a glimpse of Bruce while filming AVED. I was there on both the nights. Saw the Delta and Brock's Pick Up. Saw bit of filming from distance. I think I saw Lucy Lawless performing a shot from the distance.[/font]

The silence from the AvED social media accounts has been interesting too. I'm hoping that within a month, or so they will gives us some of the first tasty bits of info to nibble on for season 3.
 
That's one heck of a polite location shoot notice.

@Nick - the Tumblr's gone rock silent, which is unusual for it.

I agree with Kain - we usually don't get anything until around SDCC, we should have a trailer by July. I imagine by now they've shot the first few episodes by now but nothing still-worthy or completely edited together. June or May's usually when we get the first of the stills, right?

I'm gonna guess there holding the sneak peeks close to there chest this year or there waiting for the right moment to post one, plus the social accounts are always quiet like this during the drought season's, they were like this last year until they started the press tour so it's not unusual behavior there.

The only one who has been talking or active has been the twitter account, it's talked about the ihorror stuff and did a couple tweets for national beer day plus mentioned lucy's birthday, so if anything new pops up i would keep my eye on the twitter account since they seem to be most active ones during this drought were having.
 
Yeah, I think June and July are usually the busiest months when we see the first trickling of info while I think last year we saw the first promotional stuff by May if I'm not mistaken. None the less, I can't recall social media being so quite on all fronts... and perhaps I'm just getting overly antsy knowing that Celebration is coming up here in a few days and a lot of info is about to come out on that subject.
 
Well, I know last year the Tumblr was more active during the drought between one and two, the audience just had extremely negative reactions to their posts (the emoticon ones and the Valentine's Day stunt, which sure happened).

I think at this point they need to stay a bit secretive because they want to keep their cards close to their chests re the ending.
 
I agree that they need to be a little less spoilerific when posting about upcoming episodes as the season progresses, and I hope the new members of the crew change things in that aspect.
 
Oh my God, never forget them spoiling huge scenes in season one on the presumption that everyone was watching the show Friday via OnDemand/The Starz Ap. Without spoiler tagging, which you should Never Actually Do.

The people who weren't/were watching stuff live or after the live airdate were livid, and rightfully so!
 
Gonna be grasping at very thin straws on this one BUT, it looks like kelly might be sporting a new look this season with her hair color and it looks similar to how her mothers hair color looked in s1  , could be wrong but lucy and bruce do tend change up there hairstyles and looks for different seasons as well, it wouldn't surprise me none if dana isn't trying out something new for s3.

(Boy oh boy, now i'm posting about different changes in the look of the cast's hair now :rolleyes:  devils in the details though !) 

Side note, IDK if this was posted yet but dana wrote a very good lengthy guest article about her time working on the show, she puts the spotlight on the hard working crew over there in NZ and reveals a lot of little details about kelly's characters that isn't quite showcased or put in the limelight. Overall it's a very good read and i highly recommend checking it out, got a lot of BTS info in there.

I always figured when it comes to hair styles Ruby could play around with hers because she had magical powers while Kelly and Pablo would stay the same, but maybe season 3 will be much darker so they just figured we wouldn't notice the change, haha. It could also be a sign that we are seeing evil Dana in those pics.

I think maybe everyone might get a little bit spruced up in the gap between seasons. I wonder if we'll get a time jump.
 
I think this Tweet from Bruce basically confirms that there'll be no Ted Raimi this season, unless they're on a different shooting schedule.
