So as I said on here before, I am currently going through Bruce's filmography and then write about it on r/BruceCampbell each week. So I thought it would be cool to have one thread where we could discuss all of his projects outside of Evil Dead. What we've been watching/rewatching, what we want to watch, etc.
Last week I watched Waxwork II from 1992 where Bruce has a small role which kinda made me laugh because as I was watching the movie, it felt to me as if they put Bruce in just out of obligation so that him or Sam wouldn't sue the filmmakers for the scene where the protagonist is being attacked by a severed hand in a kitchen.
This week I want to do Eddie Presley, also from 1992. Originally I wanted to skip it because it's a very obscure movie that's very hard (if not impossible) to find and that Bruce only has a very small cameo in. But what I found interesting about that movie is that Bruce shares his cameo with non other that Quentin Tarantino, just before or right around his breakthrough with Reservoir Dogs. And I find this pairing even more interesting since clearly they've been in this movie together and Tarantino also loves the Evil Dead movies, yet, at least to my knowledge, he didn't work with Bruce ever since. Like Bruce does have a cameo in From Dusk Till Dawn 2, but I'd say that's because of Scott Spiegel rather than Tarantino.
So does anybody know anything more about this flick and the Tarantino connection? I think Bruce might have talked about it in If Chins Could Kill, but as I was skimming the book yesterday, I couldn't find anything.
