Evil Dead Broke My Computer

This story takes place a long time ago in 2013 where I was with my Dad and we where in tesco he needed some minor things (Ya know bits 'n' bobs), and me being me went to the DVD aisle which I felt would just be some films that look like they'd dissapoint me and sometimes just leave me thinking WHY? But Jupietor,Saturn and Mercury all aligned so that I would be given good luck I saw some films such as A Nightmare On Elm Street reduced to £3.00 which I was was happy about because that's a terrible remake then SELF DOUBT HIT should I get this? I thought but then I had a flashback to when this was coming out I remember getting all these Total Films just to get closer and to figure out what going to happen,to see the new necromicon, the screaming Mia,the Bruce Campbell and Sam Raimi interviews, the red and trailer that I had to sign in to confirm my age for. I knew I had to see it and I was scared not of the film (Well okay a little bit were all children inside), but I was scared of the thought of it being the same thing that happened when I was watching The Nightmare Remake then I went home invited the family to watch had a look on Deadites Online to get myself more hyped up,I but the disc in,I pressed play and I knew there was no going back. However my sister loves hot chocolate and during the film dropped her pop corn on the floor she said just hold my hot chocolate and I did then after what I deemed a watered down version of the Tree scene we all want to forget. Evil Mia appeared my sister jumped hit me the mug(I say mug it was like a bowl), fell hit my computer that I put in a case I heard a little bit of a sizle then my sister offered to pay for the damage in that way that I end up paying the bill and buying her something. Then the bear at the till asked what happened and me being a honest British citizen told the full true story in more detail then after I finished my tale of misfortune The Bear looked up from my VAIO computer and said is that the one with Me at her face?
This was my experience with the Evil Dead rebooted loose continuation but at least it wasn't as bad as my experience with the Nightmare On Elm Street remake!
What were you're experiences fellow Deadites?

Ha! ... great story (but not for your computer), thanks for sharing  :) ..

I went out of my way to find the seediest cinema I could. I told my girlfriend "if the girl at the desk hasn't got love bites on her neck and doesn't look at me with total disinterest/ thinly veiled hatred then this isn't an 'Evil Dead' cinema .... I found it all in The Hollywood Cinema in Norwich, UK. She didn't have love bites, was about 60 and laughed when I asked if we needed to Prue- book, replying with something like "no one comes here anymore anyway" .. the place was crumbling but beautifully because of that if you know what I mean .. I couldn't face watching it in a sterile multiplex.

There were about three other people in the theatre, mostly at the back and probably also a bit wasted (we'd just been for a drink). After the film, to be honest, I didn't hate it. I think it was just a bit of a shock after seeing the original so many times. The cinema itself has just had a reprieve after hosting the world premiere of the Alan Partridge comedy movie Alpha Papa. I expect they also chose it because it was so unglamourous.

My second viewing was in our local cinema. My third, fourth etc ... viewings were at home. I've enjoyed it more each time I've watched it.

Thank you for replying I was thinking I might get maybe one reply but I never thought it would ever be from you. You're like the big league of this website so thank you for taking the time also I find you're knowledge of the Evil Dead franchise something to be marvelled at. Another thing I have to ask is do you near enough all of the people involved in this website and there own websites like Elise who has her own. As a side note I'm watching Army Of Darkness at the moment and I was watching it with a girl on the sofa and when the flying deadite came on I shouted swofty cause its you're picture she asked me what I was talking about so I decided to take her to my bedroom where I had my Evil Dead posters and toys and showed her this site and I think that's why she told me we where polar opposites lol.

Oh Christian, you've got so many more years on me! With items that I'd die to have! You're definitely one of the world's biggest ED fans. ;)

You are very welcome. I used to find it hard being a fan of the Evil Dead because I just had Wikipedia and imdb which were helpful for facts but I wanted more so I was so happy when I found you're website and this one.
Side Note:I only discovered you're website from a link you sent me on my questions about the Italians unofficial sequels to evil dead then I discovered how great the website was and go on I regular as I go on deadites.net so when my computers on I have one tab for deadites one for the deadite slayer and one for the book of the dead.

Elise, I've just been to you site, clicked on the new Bruce Campbell video link and an advertising banner appeared for 'Log Cabins from £899! from Dunster House' ... awesome coincidence or deliberate product placing? :laughing

Also all .... don't forget the love for our uncle Kain btw, it's rare if his scoops from Deadites homepage are discussed in the forum ...
