Evil Dead Burn | Official Thread

Not an official poster, but very cool regardless! The La Casa corner of the franchise getting some love is always neat to see!

Still, nothing is really selling me the idea to book tickets. But if I do and its as shite as the last one, then I might just call it a day on any future projects including Wrath.
The stories on the side of the Magazine look more exciting than the cover story itself. I had no idea there was an Hellraiser game coming out. Just checked it out on YouTube , maybe Evil Dead can do something like that instead of a money making, micro transaction Fortnite rip off.

Hail to the Fangoria. It hasn't let me down in 40 years. EMPIRE'S also highly respected but it's no Fangoria.
Ive just signed up for monthly physical copies . Been about 20 years since I picked up a Fangoria.

Never liked the OG Evil Dead 2 poster, but I do respect the dedication to the bit.
Didn't realise the Ash skull face was the OG art work. I thought it was the art painting work by Graham Humphreys? Always thought it was cool we had a British guy responsible for that iconic cover.

Ok, I can actually see what's going on in that clip, so yay! Also, there's some dark slapstick humor in that clip that I've been missing in these new movies, so that's another positive point. Something's still off about these deadites, though. They're still acting a little too much like regular humans to me.

Ok, what they are doing with the fighting and action in this film is like, WAY times better then what was in Rise and dare i say 2013, it's got it's own identity too it that i am really loving, there's no breathing room, it's chaotic, a fight for survival and scrappy.

It's got a bit of the slapstick from og trilogy and i can't believe i'm saying this, but it's got the scrappy nature of the Daredevil television series with how it's shot and directed.

The more i see from this film, the more i'm starting to get even more sold on it.
