@evildeadite that lineup sounds perfect to me (haven't even thought about "drunk Ash" variant, that would make a pretty damn cool figure...!!
) but i honestly don't think NECA is going that far in just 1 series...just Pablo and Kelly would take so much new tooling...On the other hand, lower legs of Baal shouldn't differ that much from upcoming Preacher's Jesse Custer figure so...who knows...maybe they take advantage of that fact and go for the ol' Bill figure in series 2!! In addition, i don't expect him to be in Season 3 of the show so it's now or never for him...

So guys, some updates from people at NECA regarding their ED figures series.
First of all, a brand new headsculpt for the upcoming "Ultimate Hero Ash" from Evil Dead II:

This looks reaaaally nice, and so different from the standard headsculpt we got for the ultimate ash, which was reused from the first line of figures...
On the other hand, a break-up from a misterious figure to be released this years, which i am pretty sure belongs to one of Ruby's Demon Spawn from AvED (grown up version from season 2):

Some details are clear for me: the shape of the head, the open mouth portrait, the belly button...you can even notice his right hand has the "Baal claw", though i could be wrong on that one.

(Heinretta from either the ed2 line, OR AvED 2 lineup, i'm gonna guess aved here because she has both of her eyes.)

Sorry, do I understand this right? Is Neca re-releasing the ED2 8-inches figures they released some years back?
I was stupid enough not to buy my Hero Ash and were so quickly vanished. Now they cost a liver...
And I don't like the clothed versions (anybody does, actually?).

It's not just a re-release but a full blown new line with a updated hero ash (with a brand face sculpt to top it off) and we might possibly might be getting a evil ed this time around as they posted a prototype arm that looked exactly like his but we'll have to wait and see on that but like i said before, this is a brand new line-up for ed 2.

Great. I've been meaning to get the AoD pop vinyl Ash for a while.
I'll be starting work next week so thankfully should be able to justify buying the odd thing again soon. Heh.
