Yes, I saw that advertised. Curious that they're going the doll route with this rather than the action figures*, but I guess it makes sense to tie in with the deadite doll sequence in episode one. It also give them a unique product considering other companies are doing action figures anyway.
*Off topic, but I ordered one of those Mezco Judge Dredd figures I mentioned earlier by the way, via an eBay seller. It should be on its way across the pond from the States soon.
I like that atmospheric picture but another with a clearer picture of the product would be nice.

I don't know about you guys but i can't help but feel like there is something very important missing from the accessories lineup actually now that i look at it, there's two things missing.
Where's his chainsaw limb and sawed off shotgun ?
Despite those two minor flaws i can finally have the farewell to arms and evil ash figures as this is almost like a two for one deal

Well, I don't think this is a "major flaws". With the facial expression and look, it clearly show this is the Ash before the sawed shotgun and chainsaw hand scene. I think it's cool because there's already a lot of version of Ash with his chainsaw hand. They could at least add the chainsaw before the modification to be more complete.

So it's basically just NECA's "Farewell to Arms Ash" and "Deadite Ash", released as one figure, with interchangeable parts.
I dunno, I wouldn't have called this "ultimate" unless they'd found a way to integrate their "Hero Ash" figure as well somehow.
The completist in me will probably pick this up, though begrudgingly.
So it's basically just NECA's "Farewell to Arms Ash" and "Deadite Ash", released as one figure, with interchangeable parts.

Kind of a decent likeness, in that doll form!
Is it weird that I actually find that a bit scary? Not the blood and saw, it's something about that dolls head style. Kind of adorable, yet freaky. Something about the head style and those beady eyes...
Reminds me a bit of my mother's ventriloquist doll Fred. Except he wasn't adorable, just very freaky. I used to have nightmares about that little monster as a kid.
Actually, I think he might be still in a case around the place somewhere. Probably in the garage at the bottom of our back garden ..

I kinda love the LDD version of Ash. Probably the merch I want the most at this point, TBH.
NECA celebrated Bruce's birthday today by releasing a mock-up of the box cover art that will accompany their AvED figures!

that's just for the diorama stand, the ash you see there in the photo will have a shotgun, chainsaw, alternate head (which is in the photo) and his new hand. Eligos i don't think will be coming with any accessories, not for sure on that though.

I could've sworn at one point they said that pages of the Nec were supposed to come with one of them. Ahh well.
