Evil Dead: The Game

Alright so here's the run down of the new information we got.

-All Ashes will be in this game and Bruce will be voicing them fittingly to how that character was in that point of time and era
- All of them will be played differently with their own traits specially designed for that certain Ash, which i imagine will be the same case for the other characters as well. Basically it's gonna be a class type of system with all of the characters, Tim mentioned there's a Leader Class,Warrior Class, Hunter Class and a Support Class.
- Sounds like they got back all the original actors for their characters in this game as well. Very exciting to hear!
-Map will have different weather patterns (Rain or Snow) and day/night cycles.
-Single Player side missions confirmed by Tim

I mean, just from what you could gleam from the gameplay overview trailer, it's gonna be pretty bad ass to play as the kandarian demon.

You can posses cars, deadites, players, summon mini-bosses and take over trees as well.

That alone will make it worth whatever the game will cost just to see/hear Bruce, Betsy, Ellen, Terresa, and Rich together again along with Dana and Ray who were know are involved.
 
Just updated my breakdown post to mention that there will be day/night cycles with different weather patterns to play around in, confirmed by bruce in the interview. That's awesome to hear they are going that far with it in terms of the atmosphere and the names of the classes Tim mentioned during the interview.

Here's a bit of new information from the twitter account listing out what's upcoming in the new year.



Makes me wonder if pre-orders will be right around the corner in January if the Xbox store page being updated with the pre order descriptions a few days ago was anything to go by. We shall see i guess.
 
OK, yeah, I'm excited to shoot stuff as Cheryl. I just want a couple more characters, but this is looking good.
 
So to recap: We don't know what the story is to this game, if there is one, just a hack-em-up game with many playable characters at the cabin in the woods? It looks amazing, and will definitely get it in Feb, but a story would be good too.
 
Aww, I was hoping there'd be a mode where I could play as Linda, but I'm very excited vis the Cheryl announcement.
 
Hmmm. That seems too good to be true. I'm really surprised Boss Team Games isn't advertising cross-play. Are sure they don't mean cross-play between Xbox consoles? No mention of PC or Playstation 4/5 or Nintendo Switch.
