Bruce Campbell Finally Confirms Army of Darkness 2

By News

Bruce Campbell finally confirms that he will do Army of Darkness 2. It’s been known since SXSW that Sam Raimi and his brother Ivan have started working on the script for Army of Darkness 2 but Bruce would always dodge the question when asked if he would return to his role as Ash in Army of Darkness. Bruce Campbell finally confirms at Wizard World Nashville Comic Con this past Friday.

Bruce was asked by a fan:

“Are you going to make a sequel to Army of Darkness?”

“The last one was twenty-two years ago,” replied Campbell. “I just haven’t been racing to do it. Sam Raimi is just a little bit busy making the biggest movies in Hollywood. I use to be busy. Now I’m not. That’s why I’m here.”

When the fan told him a lot of people would want to see it, Campbell said, “Ash would have to stop occasionally from chasing some deadite to catch his breath. Maybe we could do that, I guess. That would be exciting. Fight in a walker. That would be alright. Hit them with my cane. Fake them out, have a fake heart attack, distract a zombie. I like it.”

Then Campbell got more serious, and he added, “Alright sir, the answer is yes.”

The Evil Dead Poster That Never Was

By News

Visual artist and designer Signalnoise designed a concept for an Evil Dead Poster that was never released:

Evil Dead Poster by Signalnoise

Earlier this year we were in talks with the studio before the theatrical release of THE EVIL DEAD (remake). We expressed my interest in the movie, and being a big fan of the original film I really wanted to take a crack at an alternative art poster. I was SO gung-ho that I developed the concept above (with the aid of my buddy, Dave Howlett) to get them excited about the project.
