Bruce coming to the UK!

[Swofty]

Heads up to Evildeadnews for this find ...

Bruce Campbell will be starring with UK comic actor James Buckley in a new film, Welcome To Purgatory, to be shot at Pinewood Studios ..... seeing as they're going for a 2015 release date and JJ is currently using Pinewood for Episode 7, I think we can expect some pretty interesting anecdotes and behind the scenes footage after Purgatory is released ... I hope Bruce gets to board the life size millennium falcon built there that Kevin Smith's recently visited  :cool ....... Ash ....... on Han Solo's falcon .......

Scott Spiegel is listed as executive producer.

I'm wondering if Bruce'll be playing Paul, the angel who's supposed to guide the purgatory newbies through their paces; all of his career news has been exciting but fairly vague lately, we still don't know who he's playing in The Librarians or Mission Control.

Hope he picks up some UK convention dates for fans over there, I know the last time he was on that side of the pond was for MNIB publicity.

Yeah .... I might finally get to meet him.  :bigsmile

According to this older link from the same site, production has already been pushed back on this project ..

Scott Spiegal is also listed in the cast credits as playing 'man from hell' but there's no mention of Bruce on imdb.com yet ..

The poster art is very Kevin Smith's Dogma ...

[MaidOfKandar]

I hope you will!  He hasn't been in my neck of the woods since he released MNIB, too.

Bruce's IMDB has been unusually restrained lately. I'm shocked there wasn't a stampede to add the Evil Dead series to the listing.

I might have some work down Pinewood so I might be able to get an autograph I hope.

The man has already been in the captains chair... So why not the Falcon too.
