Very cool footage!  Cabin looks also nice!

At this point, I just wonder if they will keep this kind of Rock soundtrack for the serie.  Joe Loduca is still aboard, I hope he will keep the spirit of the 3 first movies.

Can someone explain me this shot from the making of video? Like, in the trailer, that wasn't an actual shot from Evil Dead II? They made it now just for the trailer/series? I'm confused.​

Look like a flashback scene with Raymond Knowby...maybe  

If I'm not wrong, at the time they released the trailer they were still working on the serie.  Maybe they shoot this scene later...

Yes, I think you are right! I looked at the first trailer again and these are in fact different shots, the first beaing from the original Evil Dead II. I was just confused by the blue shirt in the new shot and I automatically assumed that it's young Ash. But it makes much more sense that it would be professor Knowby in a flashback (you can even see the pages released by Entertainment Weekly in the new Necronomicon). Thanks.

Now that is the what I was talking about, and boy it is well worth the wait. There is a lot of good stuff in the video with the chainsaw scene, and the axe... and it is a good quality video too. I'm super excited.

The JoBlo link should stay up, since they're an official outlet.  I think Starz went ahead and officially released the video after the person Hurley linked to posted it early.  It's interesting that it leaked at all, or that Starz wasn't smart enough to release the video first before distributing it to affiliates.  

(Then again their social media people are not schooled in Evil Dead fandom, nor are they schooled in how cult fandoms operate - once something anticipated is out, it's out there forever.)

It'll be interesting to see if the mysterious figure is indeed Ash, or if it's Knowby.  The shirt comes close to matching Evil Dead 2 Ash's clothing.  They might have needed some more over the shoulder shots to paper over transitions, perhaps?  Or they might have had to reshoot some AOD material because of Copyright Issues.

If it is not Ash, but Professor Knowby who had more of a Mr. Rodgers like cardigan (for lack of a better term) on in the scenes with the book they changed that. I think it looks like an older person... but again I could be wrong.

I thought it was Knowby but it could be also Ash in that scene with the Necronomicon.  In the trailer we can see him with a red coat and a light blue shirt.  Maybe he's just without the coat.

Universal Pictures won't let them use anything AoD related so they had to change some stuff like the wooden hand over a metal one.

Thought i'd keep the discussion going with how ash brings about the deadite plauge, in the video below at around (Note, Bruce and i think lucy are kinda lit in this interview) 6:29, they get into a very semi long discussion on how ash releases the dead again. Lucy keeps bringing up that it is, "So wrong, but beautiful" and they also mention making love the ash williams way. It's kinda making me wonder alittle if he ain't got some dame in his trailer when he accidentally unleashes hell on earth.

@Hurley - my best guess is that they put it up too early and Starz tried to file a temp claim on them so they could get it up on their official channel first.  By then it was too late, tho.  I repeat: their social media people are not trained to deal with fandoms as big and canon-versed as this and Outlander

@Joem1K - I posted that one a few pages back with timestamps; Bruce goes on to say it's "not sexual" and when asked if it's masturbation-related he tells the reporter it's "bathroom related".  So my current bet is that Ash is taking a dump or something like that when he says it.  Bruce has promised we'll 'never see his naked ass' on the show so - you can take that as you will.  

Lucy also teased that Ruby and Amanda become lovers at some point, which I will either be extremely happy about or extremely unhappy, depending on how it's written.

(Also ETA: Bruce isn't lit, he's just like that in interviews.  EVERYONE thought he was high tho but no.  This is just what he's like when he thinks something is really working).

My friend commented on the pics when I posted them saying he wanted the wallpaper for his house. That is what we need a line of Evil Dead related interior decorating options, hahaha.
