Evil Dead Auctions Listings (memorabilia, props, Ebay etc.)

I absolutely hit stores, shops, supermarkets, garages etc etc to get promo stuff for free at just before first release date . As long as ED fans have no shame, come between next april and whenever the remake (for example) is released for home viewing, you'll be amazed at the obscure crap you can get for free:

never take just one flyer or zine, if they're free grab as many as you have the balls to ..
if a place is merchandising, ask the person at the desk to save the posters, standees, faux covers etc ..
magazines usually have unique full page adverts if you're willing to spend the cash just for the add ...
phone relevant companies and ask for any 'literature' to be mailed to you for a pretend zine or store ..
I've done all of the above and more  ;D

..anyone else here have some good 'hunting' techniques?
 
I'd bid on that if I hadn't blown my ebay budget this month  :( ... I remember seeing this about 10 years ago and thinking it's one of the few ED shirts that aren't garious ... good luck whoever .. *sigh* ..
 
Its been in my wardrobe since I bought it too, not a fan of Hockey Jerseys, just bought it in my Hardcore collecting days haha

I still have that ebay sale page printed off ... twas in the days of the posters Morsoth, Norguard, Raimiette and *ahem* Incoherent One and Prophet ....
 
Every time one of these comes on ebay, I always urge any Evil Dead fan here to buy it .. out of all the period magazines I own on ED, this one is by far the most comprehensive. If you only ever buy one ED related mag, make it this one. There's tons of pages on all three films as well as Within the Woods, Tom Sullivan and Bruce Campbell features, a few pages on Introvision's work and loads of obscure rare behind the scene pictures .. I still read mine now occasionaly:

The seller lists it as a custom 8" bust but it's really either the top half of the Screamin' Ash model kit or a garage kit duplicate version of it.

.. as I remember, Fangoria magazine used to run full page ads for the Screamin kits in the early 90's.

Prop ED2 page claiming to have been 'pulled out of the trash can' by the seller stating they worked on building the interior cabin B set ... problem with that is they say this set was in Dearborn, in fact the fictional town created soley for the game and not one of the locations used for the actual ED2 shoot. This has been backed up with a truth of authenticity print art certificate showing Tom Sullivan's name:  ::)
