Evil Dead Auctions Listings (memorabilia, props, Ebay etc.)

That is cheap from the U.S. ! .... I wonder what the import tax would cost ?

Cheers for the info Jake ... I'm a bit new to the import tax thing, Rob's also been giving me advice  :)

This '85 magazine looks interesting and 10 hours left on it:

I've just won this French Evil Dead VHS release that I've never seen before on the internet or anywhere else! ... part of the 'Frissons' collection (translated to 'Chiller') .. the skeleton art on the top of the sleeve is from the George Romero film Creepshow, I'm sure I've seen the photo layout on the back of the sleeve on a different release but haven't yet worked out which one. If none of my VHS players are SECAM enabled, it will only play in black and white apparently. I love it ! :) ..

My French isn't very good but I'm looking forward to it anyway. If I can't get it to play in colour I might take you up on that offer thank you  :) .. I'm looking forward to scanning the sleeve so the ED fan community can put it on their web sites.

Kain moved us to off topic. His site, his rules mate. No harm done  :wink ...

Another Palace Pictures ED1 ex-rental red label VHS release (the other two being a white and yellow label) .. only originals have small Palace castle logo hologram stickers on the bases of the cassettes  .. it's got a FUJI logo on the top left so it's likely legit but a missing hologram sticker is something to ask about when buying these:

I'd not seen those before either Jake ...  they must be tiny compared to the already small figures.

16mm TV spot trailer for The Evil Dead in colour and sound .. this is only the second of these trailers I've ever seen for sale so it might be the same one? ...  :cool there''s definitely not too many of these around either way but they won't ship to Britain  :sad ..

I don't remember seeing before these two behind the scenes pics from The Evil Dead ... a new close up of the prop deadite Linda head and someone I'm intrigued to learn about as the guy who played Cheyrl's torso when the demon hands burst from her chest .. who is that? .. it looks more like a later publicty photo due to the obvious costume's mis-match ..

The byline on that article is so snarky I about died!  Haven't seen any of these before, Swofty, good work!

Thanks MaidOfKandar and I'm wondering if the guy in the (white?) shirt is Ted Raimi ... I've seen some old pics of him doing something similar on stage with Tom Sullivan.

Cheers Elise and it seems there's only a few of us still left at the moment still delving into the history of our films .. thanks go to Kain, Rob/SeeNoEvil, Elise, MaidOfKandar and all the rest of you .. I won't drop specific links but if you go to the links section on our site and like The Evil Dead enough ... there's still amazing new stuff popping up all the time!  :angryfist

This poster looks like it was pulled from a Fangoria magazine?
