Evil Dead: The Game

Found a tid bit of new info from the ESRB rating site.

This is an action horror game in which players battle either human survivors or demonic forces in multiplayer matches. As survivors, players must find the pages of a map while killing demonic forces by using melee and ranged weapons (e.g., cleaver, chain saw, crossbows, pistols). As demonic forces, players must kill human survivors by setting traps and controlling demonic minions and inanimate objects (e.g., trucks, trees). Battles are frenetic, often accompanied by large blood-splatter effects that leave stains on characters and the environment. Some survivors can perform finishing attacks that result in dismemberment, decapitation, and/or disembowelment of enemies. When controlling demonic minions, players can rip their minion's arm and/or head off to use as a weapon against opponents. The word “sh*t” is heard in the game, and a handful of characters are shown raising their middle fingers.

Damn i wonder if we can throw still possessed head's at survivor's that can latch on and bite them. That would be nuts!

Good to hear the Savini Ash skin won't be locked away in the collector's editions, though i wonder what they mean by "different variant"

Man this looks so sick! You get a team of demons to choose from and they all each have their own different set of stats and skills, seems like they also get different outfits as well.

Seems like you can set mini-traps for the loot boxes as well for survivors by placing mini-ashes or Ash's hand in there to mess with their sanity.

Wow, so basically what they've done here is they've split up each era of the franchise into it's own category, you got the ED1/2 era of the series, AvED and AoD.

What this means is that if you wanna have a match play out with a certain tone/style from the whole franchise, you've basically got each era to choose from with it's own set of demons/deadites with their own stats and skills that matches that era of the franchise.

I can already imagine these type of troll moments going over well with survivor players who are extremely low on health or ammo, especially getting flipped the bird by ash's hand, haha.

Completely missed this detail yesterday but i found a detail that showcases the size and scope of the map we will be playing on, it's massive!

and it looks like the map designers are gonna be leaving little easter eggs/jokes in the map as well.

One last thing: Do I sign up first, then download, then order the game? Just trying to understand.

Thanks.

Yes, you sign up with your email > Then download the epic game launcher > then order the game from the store. All you need to do! :D

I did it all, but forgot to get the Deluxe Edition instead (forgot it existed). What does the Deluxe Edition have that the regular version won't have? Here's all that was said:

"The Deluxe Edition of Evil Dead: The Game includes Season Pass 1. Season Pass 1 includes 4 DLC packs at a discounted rate."

What DLCs are they? Any other differences? Should I really go back and order the Deluxe Edition instead somehow?

Basically with the deluxe edition, you get the season pass which gives you access to all the dlc for free when they eventually come out so are you basically paying for all the dlc up front with the pass, and you also get the pre-order skins cause you are pre-ordering it.
