Cheers Kain, I've read the intro sequence (which was pretty tasty) but am going to try and resist reading any more. The hardest thing will be avoiding this thread in the week between the U.S. and later U.K. release !. If anyone posts anything about this script in this thread, could you please put a spoiler warning in first.

Bruce Campbell is looking rather spiffy in this video, and his necklace lights up. What kind of Fuckery is that (sorry)?!? Congrats to the winner... now I must find out if she is single.


Oh, and... I have never been a fan of reading scripts before seeing a movie, but some people are big on it. At least it is there as an option to check out and not just all spoilery.

I chatted with Bri myself a bit after she followed my blog (then later my channel). Poor girl is a target for sexism right now but she seems to me to be a smart, kind and mature woman to me. Seems like some men for whatever reason think that women can't be Evil Dead fans. What does that make me then!? A poser or something? I'm no stranger to the treatment that she's getting either....

Anyway, she told me that they barely used any of the footage for that video since it had to be cut down to no more than 3 minutes. But I'm sure that she was ecstatic when Bruce showed up! Even though it isn't showed in the video, Bruce went and signed some of her merchandise too and they took a bunch of pictures together. Is Bri a target for sexism or do members of the opposite sex want to have sex with her?. There is a difference. What does that make you then? .. someone of the same gender who is also an Evil Dead fan who's bonded with Bri who won the competition who is also a hardcore Evil Dead fan .. if some bad mannered sex starved inexperienced young guys have decided to give her shit it's because they're sex starved inexperienced young guys who know a good looking girl when they see one but are inexperienced with apropriate manners... yawn ... basically, they want to screw her... Bruce Campbell's just been round her house instead of mine. I'm sure she's more than capable of handling herself .. and for what it's worth, I learn from your posts and look forward to them .. thank you  ;)

I got a reply from that video from a guy who literally said that women are second class citizens and can't be Evil Dead fans. Unless he's trolling, this really baffles me.

He's a frightened person who's somehow forgotten that he was born from a woman and wouldn't exsist otherwise. Bottom line opinion if you're a normal human being IMO .. He's in the wrong ..

Then I take back my comments that were made in total jest. After all she is someone who is into something I enjoy immensely too... So I was being silly. Meeting Bruce would be uber cool, and I'd imagine winning such a prize would bring all the jealous/miscreants out. That is something I'm not sure I could handle.

No worries. Your comment is quite harmless in comparison to what I'm talking about as I understand it was in jest. No harm done. I just thought that I'd mention what Bri and I discussed real quick along with her pictures she posted. I just can relate with her with some of the messages people have sent to her. I think it's weird that all these sites get to go visit the remake set but only one site gets to post one blurry photo. I guess we have to wait for the Blu-ray release to see real behind the scene photos.

Hi, I'm new to the forum.

Been a fan from the original and the sequels as well and had big fears when I first heard about the remake.
But boy did the trailers changed that.
I looks very brutal and I love the fact that almost all of the special effects are done oldschool and without CGI.
Can't wait to see it!!!
