Hard to tell sometimes these days but thanks for going to the effort.AI. Not a real image.

Eye chart is pretty slick even if it came from Reddit.I guess we got a lurker here because this just showed up on Reddit:

Before I'd ever seen The Evil Dead, I was told "It's like The Exorcist but there's five of them! .. and the only way to kill them is to chop them up and nail that to a floor!" ..I thought Inwas comfortable on my "white eyes are the right eyes" high horse (that sounds wrong...), without ever really noticing that AoD doesn't have 'em that way for Evil Ash and Shiela.
Huh. Now I don't know WHAT to think.
Correct order from ScreenRant is MAUDE DAVEY as Polly, SOUHEILA YACOUB as Alice, TANDI WRIGHT as Susan, and Hunter Doohan as Joseph.Looks like we got confirmed character names: Left to right: Tandi Wright (Susan), Souheila Yacoub (Alice), Maude Davey (Polly), Hunter Doohan (Joseph).
But even that could be bogus. The names have been on IMDb for a few months now, but (as far as I know), there's been no official press statement about character names.Correct order from ScreenRant is MAUDE DAVEY as Polly, SOUHEILA YACOUB as Alice, TANDI WRIGHT as Susan, and Hunter Doohan as Joseph.
Tandi is from the Xena days, and played Gabrielle's niece in season 6... but I trust ScreenRant who posted it to have the correct order from left to right and based on pics of Maude who looks more like granny even though it is dark as hell. But even that could be bogus. That's literally what I posted dude.Correct order from ScreenRant is MAUDE DAVEY as Polly, SOUHEILA YACOUB as Alice, TANDI WRIGHT as Susan, and Hunter Doohan as Joseph.
Uh, ok. I'm just going in order from the left (names are fine,) but Maude and Tandi are flipped... and will now step away. All caps was from their post. That's literally what I posted dude.
I'm more positive on this than you are, but I agree with some of your points. It's frustrating that they are seemingly hiring these up-and-coming creative and passionate directors to... do again what already proved to work in 2013. The designs, the tone, the super serious gore that gets you hyperbolic quotes for the posters...I like the energy in some of the editing and cinematography there. They also seem to have listened to the nearly unanimous complaints about it looking too dark and turned up the brightness a little, which is good.
Other than that? I'm sorry, but it just looks like the same film all over again, for the 3rd time in a row.
There isn't a single fresh idea in the entire trailer. I guess our 3rd female Ash substitute now uses a grass trimmer instead of a chainsaw? *sigh*... Also, deadites are looking and acting too much like regular humans for my tastes, they seem kinda boring.
