I'm gonna have to disagree wholeheartedly, they seem to have a pretty clear goal/destination this season, much more of a goal then they did in the previous two seasons. Episode 4 looks like it's going to advance the plot even further while this episode was used to set the stage, bruce has mentioned several times during the pr tour that things really start to pick up in the middle of the season. So i would wait and see before saying something like that.
I will say that I think I can understand why Brandy's in denial and disbelief over what's happening. At least part of it is Ruby's direct manipulation, planting seeds of doubt in her mind. The rest is explicable - Every Deadite keeps going human in her presence just before their death. Rachel called her name and went human for a quarter-second before she got harp'd, she never saw her mom as a Deadite, Brock stayed human-formed the whole time. All of the other deaths so far have taken place while she's not present. I also agree with Joe that the season as a whole feels less aimless, though they're still committing some cardinal sins like building up characters only to waste them without real meaning.
....Wow, I just gave the show credit for good plotting.
Looks like were going to go back in time a bit ala Christmas carol style with the real brock (I'm hopeful that wasn't actually him and it was a evil/doppleganger version of brock) and ash and him doing his own investigation plus i think were about to get into the dead world stuff from the looks of it. and it looks like brandy will be teaming up with kelly for the next episode as well! And look who is finally making a appearance, kaya !
I'm pretty sure Ruby transferred Brock's soul to the bee/hornet (was it a hornet?) she killed and then released, which turned his body into a puppet for her bidding. Maybe it gets squashed, which is how his spirit gets freed and he becomes a roaming ghost?
- I think you missed a small detail from a previous conversation in episode 2 about pablo's current status with kelly, pablo seems to have given up a little on the venture/crush on kelly after she left and seems to be slightly keeping her at arms length for right now.
Sure i can see where you are coming from, but the relationship they currently have is already established and has been built up to a degree from these two previous seasons,i think were heading towards the boiling point at this point in time.
Which i have a feeling their relationship will probably be a heavy subject in these next two episodes if the images from farfaraway and the promo's are anything to go by.
