RE: Ash vs Evil Dead Season 2 General Discussion Thread [SPOILERS]
@Maid
-Just from the brief glimpses of footage, i can already tell there's going to be more to her character this season then there was in season 1, we only got about two episodes worth of her character and backstory and it still wasn't enough for me to say she was a real character, the reason i'm happy with the direction there taking with the character is that there not making her into this all powerful villian just yet and there fleshing her out more by letting her interact and team up with the main group while also dealing with her own problems with baal, i really don't want speculate her backstory to death because were probably going to learn a lot more about her then what was given in s1, that's just my two cents on it, in summary i think we should wait and see what they do with her character for s2 cause s1 isn't quite the fair judge of character cause of how bare bone's it was in general.
- Honestly at this point with the post sweetening which in my honest opinion isn't that big of a issue or deal, it's evil dead it's supposed to look ridiculous and cheap (granted s1 cgi was abit much but s2 sweetening looks a lot better in comparison) that's why it doesn't bother me to see it, yes it is false advertising but you also have to take into fact that there on set looking and dealing with these practical effects for weeks on end so some of that enthusiasm/disdain is gonna carry over to the press tour regardless if they even seen the final cut or not.
Actually it's been confirmed it's the first two episodes "Home and Morgue"
Here's a still from the delta episode of ash and a very passed out chet.
