What the actual fuck is wrong with Bloody Disgusting?! What is the actual point of pretty much ruining the entire season? The people who run that site never fail to amaze me with how retarded they can be. Happy to have the warning and put one up for my site as well.

That is the problem with some on set reports in that the writers either write such gleaming reviews in hope of getting more access, or they simply spoil the holy hell out of it knowing said article will get the clicks. It is lazy writing, and I wish someone in charge would have made them sign some agreement to keep certain things under wrap until they went down. I mean you don't even have to read said article to know what was talked about after reading the comments people have made about it on social media. Also I couldn't help noticing that Bloody Disgusting retweeted Bruce's tweet so I guess it reached a big enough audience for their liking.

@Elise41 - I'm pretty much used to them fucking it up ever since they basically endorsed that Blair Witch sequel in exchange for advertising $$$

What amazes me is no one in the comments has complained about it yet.

A lot of sites do that. All one has to do is look at a site like AICN which basis their entire existence around people who would fly the owner out to be on the set, and give him stuff which lead to only one negative review of a movie (he initially wrote positively about it) they had on set reports about. Of course, Harry ended up leaving due to alleged sexual assault charges... but the whole deal is kind of sad.

/I have seen a few people call them out on their own site for spoiling major parts of shows/movies with others saying this has been their modus operandi from the start.

I'm actually really surprised by how dilatory Starz was here in keeping any of this under wraps. They're giving AvED this big third quarter push yet they also pretty much put no pressure at all on the press corps they invited to the set. It's unreal. I know B-D apparently did some kind of sponsorship thing for Bruce's book signing which may explain their level of access.

I think what bugged me most about the BD/Blair Witch thing was that it was posted in the guise of being an honest review.

I wish I’d come to that article via this site, in which case I’d take note of the spoiler warning, and probably avoid it. Unfortunately I accessed it via a “there’s some great stuff in this article” tweet... grrr.

Thankfully I didn’t read it all the way through, but I read plenty. Not so much that it should ruin my enjoyment of the show and much has already faded in my head. (A factor annoying when following a serial in comics, but a blessing here.)

Nice to see rick will be back on to direct the final two episodes, loved his episodes. He nail's raimi's style of directing and chaotic tone beautifully !

I had been waiting for some kind of update from Starz, and was beginning to think they had forgotten about the show. I think the most interesting thing so far is after Mark Beesley directs both episode 1 and 2 (7 and 8 too) we get episode 3 which is written by Ivan Raimi, but directed by 2 brothers named Diego and Andres Meza-Valdez.

The cast photos look pretty nice! The directors and writers seem to be a mixed bag of new and old.

Some spoilery things I noticed at FFAS.

Spoiler: Episode-specific spoilers and Character Bio Spoiler

* Candy either dies in the school attack in episode 1 or in episode 2, since her funeral seems to be depicted in episode 3.

After episode 4, Dalton disappears from the pre-press pictures, Which is a possible clue he dies in episode four or makes it to a point just beyond that. He's gone from group shots by episode 9, so he dies before that I THINK. Joe's right and he's there in an ep 8 still he's in, my guess was off!

Pablo's business is a combined taco truck, computer repair place and fish and chips place. How did they resist calling it Ram Your Chips?

I'm thinking his going to last up until episode 8 (judging by the photos, it's going to be the dead world episodes), the trailer does show him being dragged away by various deadite hands so i'm thinking that's likely where he will bite the dust. I'm sure he will be with us for the entire season up until that point and we'll get to know him better and his background (If i remember correctly, bruce and Lindsay talked about him having a big exposition scene.) , here's hoping his character will be worthwhile up until that point. *fingers crossed*

Oh btw, dalton appears to have a custom made axe as his own weapon.

That's definitely him in the doorway behind Brandy, so he lives at least to that episode. I'm guessing from the set up his monologue might be in episode 3.

Also What in the hay is Brandy wearing in eps 8 and 9 (and presumptively 10?)
