So the influx of info on season 3 begins, and despite Ray's comments I would actually like to see why he is walking around with an oversized coat on.

@Joe - Ooh! Bruce looks good. Any spec as to how far into the season they're shooting now? If the midway party was in May, then they must be pretty close to the S3 finale. That shot makes it clear that they're back at
Last two years we got a trailer sometime around the Fourth of July, right? I'm still surprised May went by with no HQ stills. I know we didn't get trailer debuts in ComicCon but we did get full episode previews by early fall. Without a settled debut date for the season it might be hard for them to decide when to release promo material.

Brock's house late in the season - the last arc might lock everyone there. I wonder if he gets resurrected before or after this?

Also Twitter is acting up when it comes to anything other than gifs lately. @Joe - makes sense! It looks like a big, climactic moment either way but this might be the final moment before a big arc goes down.
And you're quick on the draw again!
That's certainly a larger number of featurettes, but it looks like they were generally culled from the website and the post-episode behind the scenes again; hopefully some will be original. I hope the Henrietta feature is deeper in depth because I want to know more about the SFX work. I'm dissapointed there isn't an Ellen-centric featurette (presumably she'll be in the Women who Kick Ash feaurette but will probably have to share it with the other actresses), since presumably Ted gets one in the Henrietta piece and Ashy Slashy is apparently getting his own as well. (and Up Your Ash is presumably about the head-up-the-butt scene, which is funny considering the behind the scenes controversy surrounding that one). Also disappointed the mini-films they released won't be on it.
I also wanna know who's gonna be on the commentary roster. I sense Lucy, Dana, Bruce, Ray and Rob again, maybe they'll invite in Lee and Michelle as well. I doubt Sam will be on this one since he didn't direct anything this season. I'll be stunned if everyone's buried the hatchet enough to let Craig record anything, but stranger things have happened.
The cover art is an improvement as well over the promo posters - surprised there's so much focus on the spawn since their demise only takes up half the season.
If the blu-ray's coming out in August then we're definitely on track for a premier around the same time as we got last year.

I like the cover, and don't think anyone will miss the yellow from season 1... but with this coming out in August along with Bruce's new book we will have a lot to keep us busy until season 3 starts.

I'm probably the only one who hate it. The cover from season 1 is probably not good as any movie posters form the franchise, but it feel more Evil Dead than this Gi Joe parody. I agree design is better overall, but the chosen subject is not.
Hope there will be a steel book with an alternate cover. As a fan I,ll buy it anyway.

I love Ray's jacket - Pablo's look this season is pretty TED-Ash, I wanna say?
@Joe - SFX teams generally call their design and fabrication houses creature shops from what I've gleaned, I guess Deadites could fall under the umbrella of 'creatures', though I imagine we're going to get some variety this season!

I've always held the comparison/notion that pablo reminds me of the nerdy ash from the first movie in spirit, even his outfits sometimes mirrors ash's when they first arrive at the cabin, so yeah i can defiantly see the comparison there.
Anyways this was just posted from nick basset on his instagram, it's a very cryptic but subtle message, but it's pretty loud and clear they may have just wrapped up filming for the season !
