Evil Dead Auctions Listings (memorabilia, props, Ebay etc.)

Haha I bought it for my collection and to look at the pretty pictures. I don't know shit about RPG books. Just RPG video games.

This listing isn't eBay but it's worth putting up. I wish the pictures of the "props"/cabin pieces were bigger but it's all in one photo.

A new record ... 22 bids on this Palace original tape and the clock's still ticking .. not many of these left folks. Grab it while you can:

I am very tempted to list mine now haha!

If that Ton of Red Meat card comes with it, you've got a deal  ;)

edit: ... though I remember when this rental only release first came out, shop owners had to pay £80 for it!

Swofty, I believe that ton of red meat card that sold in the previous auction was a re-print, the size of the print and card is way off from my original card!, sold for £51 as well!.

I spotted that, the print itself does look authentic though?

The print is identical, maybe they printed the cards different sizes? Although it looks very crisp and white for a 30 year old piece of card, surprised at how crisp the print on the sleeve is as well, must have been kept away and never borrowed to friends that's for sure haha!

I have listed my pre cert Evil Dead Video with Card and Evil Dead 2 in the same auction, although my Evil Dead tape has come loose at one end which I am gutted about, also no palace logo in the box, I must have sold the original palace box with my other copy of the tape a few years ago, oh well see if there is some interest! http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=230951445138

Your ED1 cassette isn't in its original box as you said NAH ... the Palace Pictures logo inside you've mentioned should be vacu-formed inside the front of the box and takes up most of the inside of that area. Visually, the biggest giveaway for anyone looking to buy one of these babys is that if you take out the outer paper sleeve, you're left with outer white vinyl plastic encasing under the clear plastic. The clear plastic sleeve cover should be sealed at the bottom and open at the top. Another thing to look out for is the condition of the label of the cassete itself: pushing a VHS tape into your machine .... fingers under the cassete and thumb on top to steady and guide it in ='s a naturally 'grubby' soiled top label expected on all vintage VHS tapes. The code on this tape's sleeve reads PVC 2018A. Almost no competition cards were found or, if so, even cared about 'back in the day' so it's still plausible (though increasingly unlikely) that mint white cards could turn up, because they were tucked inside and behind the sleeves of rental tapes .. the competion card I remember seeing when this was new was the same size as yours NAH and I can't think of a reason why they would have varied the size back then.

edit: this sale is still amazing though for the tape, impossible to find genuine card and on top of that the embossed Palace Premiere ED2 cassette and case. I'm going to try and find a way to win this! .. bring it on bidders!  ;)

I know my other copy did have the embossed case but the betamax version didnt and was in a red box. Good luck with my auction Swofty  8)
