And I, too, am fresh meat.  I'm Missy, I currently co-moderate a Bruce Campbell Tumblr (Appropriately named Fuck Yeah! Bruce Campbell), and I have been a semi-loyal Deadite EST 2005.

How you guys doing? I'm new here and like all of you I'm a big fan of The Evil Dead and very much looking forward to the remake that I already bought both versions of the new Evil Dead poster. Looking forward to meeting all of you.

Thank you Elise!  I admit your talking so favorably about Deadites was what nudged me into making an account!

New to this forum, Long time Evil Dead fan.  I'm also just as big a fan of Raimi and Campbell.  I'm glad the franchise has been resurrected and I hope there will be more to come with it.  I'm looking forward to read what others have to say about the new movie and possible theories about the proposed future that Alvarez and Campbell have been commenting on for the past couple of months.

Hell-o deadites and/or deadettes... welcome to our humble abode. The drinks with tiny little umbrellas are off to the right. Now sit back relax, and enjoy your stay.

Hello fellow deadites! I'm new here but have been lurking for years. I love everything Evil Dead, Bruce Campbell & Sam Raimi. I first saw the original when I was 8 or 9. My dad introduced it to me as well as horror films in general and i've been hooked ever since. This seems like a great forum, full of passionate die-hard, loyal fans, that I am proud to now be a member of! "Hail to the King baby!"

Welcome! One by one we will take you!

Hey all, Im a noob on here aswell and just wanted to say hello.

I used to haunt the Horror Channel forum back in the day when it was actually cool before the hostile takeover! lol

I love everything Horror related, from Universal monster movies, Hammer, cheesy 80's, foreign, modern and even Godzilla movies.  :bigsmile but my one true love will always be The Evil Dead franchise!  :cool

I worked in the film industry briefly and my only small claim to fame was working on Hammers Beyond The Rave.  :) I took some time out and have been doing a stressful but boring retail job (no, not S-Mart :P) but I am currently writing a horror short which Im hoping I will pull my finger out and actually make and give the film career one more shot.  :)

Anyways, really happy to be here fellow Deadites and looking forward to summoning some Kandarian demons with you all!  :happydevil

Welcome sir  :) ... what did you do on the Hammers Beyond The Rave?

Well I was credited as production runner, but I actually was an additional 3rd Assistant director. Even 2nd assistant directed one of the 2nd unit shoots. plus was an extra in a few scenes. Was a vampire thug, a raver, a body double (fake shemp :P) and the close up on the darts finisher was me! lol  :laughing

Really enjoyed it, especially being the guy who had to look after and assist Ingrid Pitt  :)

Just realized I never introduced myself, so I might as well post something here. Big movie fan and I mostly love scifi and horror. Have a decent home theater and been into home theater since the laserdisc days. If I'm not watching movies then I'm probably shooting pool.

Hello  :) Our Cellar Door is always open for fresh souls.  :lol

Ive grown up with Evil Dead. I just updated my collection to blue-ray. I concider the first movie as the best horror film of all time, and the second the best horror-comedy. I liked the reboot, it was pure terror most of the way through...set by the opening scene. I am also excited to see what's next, AD2 or ED2 I'm sure Ill be happy either way.

I even had my friend that does famous custom pieces create me an Evil Dead one. Its like smokn from the live forest its such good detail. Can we post paraphanilia pics?

Welcome welcome sir. Hope you enjoy yer self nerdin it up with fellow deadites :cool
