Enjoy the show, Kain... and I am so envious of those who are getting to see early showings. I would like to be able to stream the show online, but if you have to order Starz fully as stated above I might have to hold off. Right now I have too much to worry about. I have a feeling though that the show is going to be epic in every way, and I have seen a lot of positive comments about the new members of the case like Kelly and Pablo. These are good times to be an Evil Dead fan for sure.

ETA: Nick - if you have an Itunes account and want to pay per episode they usually put up everything the next day for individual purchase on there - I can't remember if they do the same on Amazon. That's everyone's only option because they absolutely don't have them for free on Hulu. I know they will probably put the first couple of episodes on the website for free for awhile to stoke extra interest.

I think what made it better was the level of interaction with the audience and between the cast, tho the extra producer guy continues to be an unnecessary appendage who sits onstage and adds nothing to the conversation and Jill once again didn't get to say much.
As much as I like Ray I think he might as well have stayed home too and having Bruce/Lucy/Dana and Sam would've made for the best possible panel. The best parts were Sam and Bruce razzing each other and Bruce making fun of the way he over-foleys/self-foleys everything. And the clear joy in Sam's description of that Three Stooges piece. "I don't sound like that, Bruce!"

Are we sure Kain is even a real person after all these years? He could be an Evil Dead loving robot for all we know, hehe.
Part of that could be due to the lack of one Kevin Smith. I don't care for the dude at all, and NYCC sure didn't help.

I'll try not to spoil too much.
The first episode was awesome. It felt very Evil Dead 2 with all the cinematography down to the sound effects. Ash's new one-liners are hilarious.
Lots of deadites!

My only complaint was the CG gore. It sucked. It's a mix of CG with some practical blood. Think the Walking Dead CG gore and blood but more cheap looking. Hopefully they will improve it throughout the season.
Other than that the first episode was a wild ride. I just sat there with a big happy grin through the whole episode.
The panel was fantastic. The banter between Sam, Bruce, and Lucy was hilarious. Dana was absolutely stunning in person. Wow!
Most of the fan questions were great but one guy asked Sam and Bruce if they would be interested in doing a Spawn movie. I just shook my head and rolled my eyes.
So going to the Paleyfest panel this evening fulfilled my bucket list of seeing Sam Raimi in person and marked the 14th time I've seen Bruce Campbell

ETA: the Spawn question was pretty cringeworthy; I think I know of the guy in the Ash cosplay. I loved the woman who asked the multi-part question that Bruce had to break down into chunks.
My guess is that the only Deadite in the trailer that isn't in the episode is the Grey faced eyeless one from the bookstore?
