ETA: I'm hearing various stirrings that season 2 will be announced sometime around after the premiere, and that leases are being filed as we speak.  IDK if there's  more to that or if they're putting the cart before the horse here, but worth noting.

If I had some new batteries for my camera (it is old) I would, but alas they are out of juice. I'd be shocked if they didn't post it online pronto. The added part is of Ash turning, and then raising his chainsaw before saying "What... You've never seen a guy with a chainsaw hand before?!?"

I believe so. Ash was looking back when he said it, but I have managed to get some sleep between then and now. No more excuses though... and if I was anywhere close to the west coast I'd gladly take a ticket to the show. Ash and Iggy would be a perfect combination.

How explicit are those 'raunchy sex scenes'?  I'm asking because I'm likely watching the premiere with my asexual best friend and I want to forewarn her.

Is the weed Ash smokes to say the words adulterated in any way/magically changed or does he just plain get loaded on the regular stuff?

Has the dialogue from Kelly's audition scene (in this video) been changed at all, or does she continue to come off as racist and unlikable?

Which version of the words does Ash mumble?

I think I like this panel maybe more than the one from San Diego. They don't say basically anything new, but you can see how everybody is just enjoying themselves after watching the episode. That really excites me.

Well I missed the first few minutes of the ep (they started the panel a little early) so the first thing I saw/walked in on was Ash having sex doggy style with the girl from the bar in some bathroom the first line I hear is the girl moaning "oh my god I'm cumming!" 

In the middle of the sex scene Ash thinks he sees a deadite and then stops. The girl asks him what's wrong and he replies "Idk something just happened....something that hasn't happened in almost 30 years" 

He then talks about how he has to go.  Girl asks him.if he wants to finish, he stops to think about it then decides to get back to it. Ramming her from behind and then smacking her ass hard with his wooden hand.



It appears that Ash smokes the regular good stuff

None of the dialogue from that audition tape is in the show and Kelly is only mean to Ash when he introduces himself to her. She is not mean to Pablo. 


The words that Ash speaks are a combo of the original, the reboot, and some new words.

The pacing in my opinion was very smooth! A lot like the other films and horror films in general. This may start kinda slow at first it seems but it's to set up the mood, plot, and characters.

Once Ash unleashes the Evil Dead the episode truly starts (literally,  the title doesn't appear until after Ash realizes he fucked up). And from there it's just non stop horror and laughs.

I throughly enjoyed all the new charcters. Especially when they interact with Ash. Ray, Dana, and Bruce all play off each other very well. The chemistry between everyone is great. Especially during the climax of the episode.

The gore is the trademark blood and gore you expect from Evil Dead: brutal, in your face, and over the top!

Some of the cgi for a few of the scenes, particularly when Amanda Fisher and her partner are introduced, and Ash's fight against the doll, seems a little wonky, but it's the type of chi you come to expect in a tv show. Not as cheesy as SyFy channel quality, but not Hollywood budget quality either. The crowd erupted with screams and cheers during each brutal bloody moment.

I'm still not sure if I really mind this. If it really is that out of place compared to the original movies (did the sex scene seem out of place to you?). Of course won't know until I see the episode, but I don't think I will mind it. 
 
I'm however more concerned about the "stoned reading" from the Necronomicon. That still really worries me... But on the other hand, the second bunch of stuff you said about the general feel of the episode really made me happy and despite some of the weird shit we are hearing about, I believe I'll still enjoy the hell out of this show. So thank you for sharing.

The sex scene feels like raunch for the sake of raunch; "we have 'no limits', let's put this scene in!'  I mean, it sounds funny at least, and it's nice to have another consensual sex scene in the franchise (all we had before was Ash and Sheila's scene in AOD, and that was excised via editing).  Is Bruce pantsless or do they shoot them from the waists up? 

Yeah, I'm still not incredibly jazzed about the idea of Ash reading the words stoned, especially off of regular pot, especially like that.  And I guess him reading a combination of the words means that's how we get the super Deadite infection that we end up with.  Is he keeping the Nec locked up normally or is it a coffee table book?

I'm glad they didn't use the Kelly stuff in the actual show, but I'm still dissapointed by Ash's gropey behavior toward her, which I know was filmed and included because it's in the promos.  

Is there any other music in the pilot except for the Deep Purple song?

How would you describe Pablo and Kelly's relationship?  I admit they're part of what's keeping my interest in the show alive.

It doesn't effect my eventual enjoyment of the situation at all, but how muddy are the cgi shots?
