Evil Dead Auctions Listings (memorabilia, props, Ebay etc.)

Someone's bought a screen used foam skull from Army Of Darkness. Skip to 8:03 in this video to see the skull because it's a dragged out unboxing video. A photograph given to cast and crew is also shown earlier in this clip.

PropStore has put up some teaser images for their upcoming Los Angeles Spring 2025 auction, and the very first item is a screen-matched Tom Sullivan original Book of The Dead with full-color (slightly damaged) pages. I'm not sure if this is the main "hero" version, but you can see the slightest trace of the book's iconic ghoulish face on the cover. I'm sure we'll get more pictures when the full catalog is posted (very soon, as the auction is in March).

Wow. I am fortunate to have seen these in person!

I also couldn't help but notice that three of the lost pages are missing from the collection: the "Hero From The Sky" page, the Castle Kandar page, and the time rift page. I wonder if Tom is holding onto those or if he already sold/gave them away.

I'd kill to own Cheryl's clock sketch.

Holy wow, Linda's necklace!

Adam Savage chats with Tom Sullivan about the props going up for auction. Apparently Tom will be selling off more stuff at another Propstore auction further down the line (including the stop motion ED2 book and another ED2 stunt book).

It's nice to see Tom get more recognition!

Adam has shown off the cabin miniature and Necronomicon from Evil Dead 2 with the folks from the Propstore in a couple of videos over the past 3, or so years... and now Tom Sullivan himself is on. I'm super happy they were able to show off these items in detail before they end up in private collections, and to have Tom there to discuss the creation process is special because in the cabin video a question was asked about how often they get the creators and/or actors in the see items they have and they said it was a fairly rare occurrence.

Here you go ..

This auction is totally happening at the worst time for me financially, but I'm still keeping an eyeball on it!

Propstore just released THREE videos with Tom Sullivan!
There's also this video, but this is just the first minute of the third video:
It's fun that the handle of the dagger was inspired by the alien that bursts out of John Hurt's chest in ALIEN. If you look up some of the other massive films he's been in, your jaw will drop. He retired with his wife to the small seaside town I live in and I used to sell him cod loin and whisky, he always had time to chat about films with me and introduced me to his wife and nephew . I've still got a plastic decoy duck he gave me one day from his front garden that's currently in my back yard sitting in a bird bath. So I've worked with both Tom Sullivan and John Hurt which feels a bit surreal. :)

Anyway, sorry to ramble, we're talking about The Evil Dead instead. If I could own any surviving prop at all from The Evil Dead, it wouldn't be any of the more obvious ones or even the car, it would be the clock. I'd kill to have that hanging on my wall.
