It makes me think back to the days of vhs with screener copies, and maybe they are keeping the number to a minimum so that if it does leak they know where it came from. It is also like all the recent Kurt Cobain music that leaked as soon as they announced a new album would be coming out in November along with the Montage of Heck movie.

I'm looking forward to the moment when someone posts something like "After watching Ash vs Evil Dead season 2, my big brother told me that there were films made before this .. they were okay in all but were a bit cheesy, and what's up with the beginning of 2 compared to the end of one? .. was that a remake or a sequel? " .... it would make a change from "My big brother showed me Army of Darkness and then I discovered there were other films made before this and now I'm totally hooked !!!" ...

I think that music playing is for the presentation at paleyfest and not on the show cause if you listen carefully you can hear the tension building music.

"It was at this moment ash knew, HE FUCKED UP" 

Anyways shock till you drop posted this tid bit about watching the first two episodes

They should be, if they want to make actual revenue off of the show.  If they don't get rating for the first episode because it leaks everywhere then they're screwed.  It's bad enough that premium cable replays the shit out of everything and you have to estimate on cumulative ratings, on Demand replays and purchases.  They still need strong cumulative ratings out the gate on the premier episode on Halloween or else.

Annd thus we have Kelly as an uncomfortably racist bitch stereotype/mean spirited jerk.  Jesus Christ, are any of these characters likable except for Pablo, whose entire conception is a racist stereotype in the first place?  Why would Pablo want to be friends with someone like her?  Because she's vaguely pretty?  Because he feels sorry for her and actually wants to sleep with her as she suggests?  Again Pablo remains the sole likable character and he's the embodiment of a pathetic Ash fanboy/audience insert come to life.  All I want is one appealing, non-racist character to root for.  That's all I'm asking for.

Annnd these are exactly the same kind of responses we got for the remake - which is why I don't trust 'em.  The remake was terrible and in the sober light of day everyone calmed down and realized its general mediocrity (never forget that C Cinemascore and fifty percent three day audience drop off).  So: predictable tongue bath is predictable.  I'm not trusting the Den of Geek review because, like IGN did with the remake, they're likely trading exclusives for positive critical reviews (AICN and IGN were particularly egregious back then because they were sponsoring contests and then suddenly would crank out a five star review two seconds after the contest was announced).

I also see Bruce has hit the high point of his hubris and is now promising us 'decades' of this show.  You're not going to do this when you're seventy, Bruce, be real.

Just to be honest maid, i think everyone at the start of this show is gonna be not likeable and someone you wouldn't root for, but i think once the show start's rolling and we start to get used to the characters and they develop over the season, hell i even think pablo we'll start to grow more away from ash over the season just because of what ray says here on the panel

See, that's my eternal question: why does every character have to be horribly unlikable just so they can develop?  This wasn't a feature in ED/ED2 or even AOD; in fact that's what made the movie so unique, the characters were worth rooting for off the bat due to their general normalcy as people, and Ash, Annie, etc all developed and changed due to their experiences without losing rooting value.  For casual viewers it's going to be a slog getting to the point where Kelly, Ash (for the millionth time) and Pablo are worth redemption.

The Pablo spoiler is nice; it's interesting, TBH, that each actor seems to have a different impression of what kind of show they were making.
